Colts Injury Report - UPDATED
I don't know if anyone else pays attention to it, but while perusing the updated roster page, I happened across the Injury Report. This is my first time seeing this page, which is odd since I go to Colts.com pretty much every day.
Reading it today was a little eye opening. Let me see if I can port the format of it over here.

There you go. A few interesting things to me are: Roy Hall not practicing because of a knee injury, Saturday doing full practice both days, Kelvin Hayden, Daniel Muir, and Jacob Tamme being held out of practices for injuries.
I would have never this had I not happened upon this info source. Is there anyway we can get a injury report widget on the main page so we can all have access to this every time we come here? Just a thought for the SBNation web geniuses.
UPDATE 9/12/08 6:37PM EDT:
Here is the final injury report for this weekends game:
Clark (knee, questionable), wide receiver Roy Hall (knee, out), cornerback Kelvin Hayden (hamstring, questionable), defensive tackle Daniel Muir (knee, out), guard Mike Pollak (knee, out), Saturday (knee, questionable) and tight end Jacob Tamme (ankle, out).
via Colts.com
There is definitely some surprises here. No Roy Hall, No Muir, and No Tamme. Clark and Saturday might play, Hayden might not. There is something going on at West 56th St., just wish I understood it

good stuff
The league started making teams report who is practicing last year, it really adds to the report.

Saturday
NFL Network mentioned something about how well Saturday’s injury has healed and so quick. They (NFL Network and Saturday in a separate interview) were talking that he might be probably for the game. I thought he was going to be out for 4-6 weeks! And those doctors that recommended surgery? What’s going on there?
In your report there is no news about Clark or Addai. I’ve assumed Addai is fine but haven’t heard word on Clark yet. Any news anyone?

Clark
I’m assuming he’s going to be out for Sunday’s game. I don’t remember if I read it anywhere or if it’s just a hunch. Addai will probably play, but it seems like he’s getting knocked in the head a lot. I think Saturday should either wait until week 3, or if we can manage without him, wait until after the bye. I no longer trust the Colts’ medical staff and I want him to be in great condition when he returns.

I agree
Why risk further or even worse damage? I’d rather he wait too.

Dallas and Addai
I’m sorry, for some reason my picture stopped displaying, damn Picasa. Addai seems to be fine as they have not released any info about him on the report. Dallas hasn’t practiced yet this week. I’ll give an update when the Colts release today’s report. In the mean time, why doesn’t someone rec this so it doesn’t get buried?

off topic
Bullard, you would love being an Iowa football fan right now. #47 is the jersey to have. At the games the last two weeks I saw a couple times more 47 jerseys than all other numbers combined.

His Jersey
Is why I wanted to Gijon Robinson to make the roster so bad the past two seasons. I wonder why he chose that number. I also became a fan of Chris Cooley for picking the number and embracing it, though i don’t know why he picked it either.
Who is the Iowa player with #47?
BTW: My birthday is April 7th, so 4/7. That’s why my Jersey number was always 47.

Mitch King (a DT!)
A senior now but he’s been starting since the end of his redshirt freshman season. He’s Iowa’s star defender and is a legit pro prospect (probably at DE). He’s a great pass rusher and just a absolute monster.
Besides being really really good the fans love him because he’s always jumping around firing up the team and the crowd. Plus this year the shoulder length blond hair gets a barbarian kind of vibe going which is badass.

Injury widget
I’ll look into it. We’ve been tossing around new widget ideas for the better code monkeys in our writing community.

I'd offer to write one
If I knew what language you guys use, and if I knew where I could get a XML data source for the injury reports.
