The 2008 season starts for both the Colts and the Bears. The Colts also open their new stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium. Already today, the NFL season has opened with some wild games and crazy situations. According to NFL Network, the Colts will showcase a new offensive formation in the game. If anyone sees it, or can recognize this “new formation,” make a note.

That looks BAD. It really does look a lot like Carson Palmer’s injury. I root against Brady in every game, but I don’t wish this on him. I feel bad for Bernard Pollard because he is a Purdue Alum and was always a hard-hitter and his name is going to be ran through mud all over the Press.

Right now I’d just write it off as wishful thinking on the part of the Jets players. I don’t think anyone knows yet. They have an MRI scheduled tomorrow, but this is Belichick we’re talking about here. We won’t know until Brady plays or goes on IR

If that’s true, that stinks. I mean, it makes it easier for us, but you never want to see a guy go down like that, especially in the first quarter of the first game of the season.

I normally would think the Colts would dominate tonight...

…but tonight has me (or really you guys) a little worried. Peyton hasn’t played all preseason and is coming off an injury, your D Line is extremely thin, and Marvin (although he’s looking good in warmups) is coming off an injury and let’s face it, he’s getting old. I don’t mean to be negative, and you’ll probably pull it out, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a close game.
