Since we have a couple games tonight, let's throw up a discussion thread for the Packers retiring Favre's number playing the Vikings, and the Broncos visiting Oakland.

I'm interested in Adrian Peterson having a big day for my Fantasy Team, as well as Darren McFadden besting that other rookie running back that played well yesterday.

I’m facing the Vikings D and Bernard Berrian plus 4 of the defensive players in this game in my league that’s a tight matchup.

Chad Greenway +29.4 points vs Vikings D plus Berrian, Sharper, Henderson, Kampman and Barnett

Dear god, Peterson is a beast. He just ran over Al Harris like he wasn’t even there. Next sunday is going to suck.

we know, lay off it. We’re aware Favre use to play for the Packers and they wanted Rodgers instead this year. You don’t have to bring it up every time something happens.

ESPN broadcast sucks. They don’t even have the down and yardage display up at all.

sorry. just making myself feel better. if we can keep the pressure of peyton, the vikes secondary doesnt scare me. but if we cant get off the field on 3rd down, 0-2 is definitely staring us in the face, followed by the jags.

The scary thing last night

was that when they went to it they were able to limit it’s effectiveness by assigning someone to block Sanders. They even tried some ABBD (Antoine Bethea) to mix it up. Sanders still had 9 tackles, but a lot of those were coming up from deep coverage not him getting off blocks.

It’s not going to be the death of the BSBD because assigning someone to Sanders frees up someone from the front 7. They just need to step up, get to the right place and make the tackle.

Scary is right

My Guess is that Dungy plans better for the Vikings!

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the Vikings play a 2 WR, TE, RB, FB base O. Colts will counter with Sanders in the Box on the TE side, the DL plays a little tighter (smaller Gaps) basically a Cover 3 all game (let T. Jackson beat us). I also wouldn’t be surprised to see the new Tackle Muir in a little more earlier in the game. Also they need to shep blocks alot better LBs especially.

Also did anyone notice in the game last night the play down the sideline to Olsen the bears TE when he was covered by Keiaho. Who made that call!!!! Keiaho is not a coverage backer, he got beat bad on that play and I believe it let to a 1 yard TD run by Mckie. Just bad coaching, and Brackett clearly missed that assignment (he is supposed to be the coach on the field).

Why was Keiaho out there on that play. No matter I say just don’t let it happen again.

Colts should watch this tape closely on how the Packers are playing the vikes. Great Return TD, I hope ROBY is watcing.

Though in Keiaho's defense

being a bad coverage LB for the Colts isn’t much of an insult. Coverage ability is #1 for Colts LBs.

Packers / Vikings game

Great game, great rivalry, great preview of two contenders. However, irritating officiating. Flagfest. I wonder if those guys were expecting a pay bonus for every flag they threw. Also, where is the petition to get Kornhieser off the program? I’ll sign right now.

Broncos / Raiders game. Boring. Broncos look decent. Oakland, not so much…
