It's always a bitter pill to swallow....losing. However, there are some things to feel good about too. First of all, it's great to be a fan of a class organization, which is classy in defeat as well as victory. Remember, some coaches don't even shake hands with the opposing QB when they lose (wonder who I'm talking about).
Also, our QB is still standing and knocked some serious rust off in the opener. If our receivers would have made the plays on the ball that they usually do, we would be 1-0. We could be in the Patriot's position.....not a good alternative. In other words, I'd rather lose the opener, than lose our franchise QB.
Thirdly, we don't have Vince Young in our organization. Nothing against him personally, but I'm just not a fan of whiney, moody, border-line psychotic players.....especially ones who are not accurate in throwing the ball. The Titans probably don't realize it, but having Vince out is the best thing that ever happened to that organization.
And, while I'm discussing QB's, let's just be glad we don't have Philip Rivers in our organization. Just the sight and sound of him makes me ill.
Freeney and Sanders are back and looking good. That's a huge point.
And one last thing, even though our great receiver Marvin, probably cost us the last two games, at least he doesn't feel the need to change his name to Ocho Ocho. My bet is he never fumbles again. Let's hope it's out of his system.
