Some thoughts two days later
It's always a bitter pill to swallow....losing. However, there are some things to feel good about too. First of all, it's great to be a fan of a class organization, which is classy in defeat as well as victory. Remember, some coaches don't even shake hands with the opposing QB when they lose (wonder who I'm talking about).
Also, our QB is still standing and knocked some serious rust off in the opener. If our receivers would have made the plays on the ball that they usually do, we would be 1-0. We could be in the Patriot's position.....not a good alternative. In other words, I'd rather lose the opener, than lose our franchise QB.
Thirdly, we don't have Vince Young in our organization. Nothing against him personally, but I'm just not a fan of whiney, moody, border-line psychotic players.....especially ones who are not accurate in throwing the ball. The Titans probably don't realize it, but having Vince out is the best thing that ever happened to that organization.
And, while I'm discussing QB's, let's just be glad we don't have Philip Rivers in our organization. Just the sight and sound of him makes me ill.
Freeney and Sanders are back and looking good. That's a huge point.
And one last thing, even though our great receiver Marvin, probably cost us the last two games, at least he doesn't feel the need to change his name to Ocho Ocho. My bet is he never fumbles again. Let's hope it's out of his system.

Amen
Alot of good things! I hope the fumble issue is out of Marvin’s system…the past two games they cost us alot.
We are very lucky we have our QB…I agree with you, I’d rather be 0-1 than lose him.
I’ve disliked (hated) Brady for a while now, but I now I actually hate (REALLY hate) Rivers more. He is such a puke. And as for VY, maybe an “evaluation” would be a good idea…nut case.
Freeney looks great and Bob didn’t slow down or lighten up on his hits…awesome.
I just hope Dallas’ knee is ok…

Has everyone heard about The Titans...
They had to call police because family members’ said he left his house suddenly with no cell phone in a emotional state that made them concerned for his well being. So Nashville police put out an APB to find him. This was after he had to be convinced to go back on the field after his second interception.

Seriously?
And on a different note…was I the only one who had the volume down for MNF? Damn it was nice last week when Kornheiser was gone…

I should have.
Korny drove me crazy. I think someone needs to start a real petition to ask ESPN to remove him.

Good thoughts
I’ve held off bashing Vince because I’ve done enough of it. That was pretty spineless, what he did. And Keith Bullock called him out.

Maybe the Titan’s fans should get together and Baker Act him….just an idea. However, I probably shouldn’t give them any ideas, it’s always better for us when he’s their leader…..and I use the term ‘leader’ very loosely.
