Do any of you guys feel that the coaching staff could have use it's personell any better. I think, for the most part, that the coaches had the best offesnive players out there, but, how about the Defense?
It's not unheard of for coaches to make mistakes. I'm sure most people remember Gilbert Gardner, he started for 13 weeks before he got the hook. Did Rob Morris get miraculously better on week 14, probably not. But that switch help turn the momentum around and help the colts win a super bowl.
Way back in the 90's when Larry Brown was coaching the Pacers, he gave Jalen Rose just over 2min a game of playing time. After Brown leaves, the next year Rose makes the all star team. Again a miraculous increase in skills or just a chance to play.
Back to this year. Should Buster Davis been playing in front of Tyjuan Haggler? Should Eric Foster ever been playing Nose tackle, instead of Antiono Johnson?
Haggler should have gotten his starting job back, at the very least be the first LB off the Bench. Johnson and Muir should have been at NT and Foster should have been competing for playing time at UT.
Just a thought
