31. Indianapolis Colts - Selvish Capers, OT, West Virginia
Some project Capers to play left tackle, but he's been on the right side for the Mountaineers this season. Either spot he plays, the Colts could use him. Middle linebacker could be a need, but that is a position that traditionally be addressed later in the draft.

As a side note
I do not like that Mocking Dan has us losing in the Super Bowl!

the order there was actually from a poster who made the order based off record and point differential.

Oh, okay
Good to know because I was thinking no way the Colts lose to the Saints in the Super Bowl.

When I first read the title of this fanshot I couldn’t help but laugh. But anyways…
I like the idea of taking an OT in the first round for once, but it won’t happen. The Colts would have to be picking in the first half of the draft to pull the trigger on an OT.

i had a nice little chuckle as well
with the title. I think I have to agree with you KR, most late round tackles dont payoff. It has to be an earlier pick… if the Colts do go for a tackle, the only way they do so is trading up.

Great Pick
But we should have been picking at No. 32.

I think it's really funny
that the 1st thing that everybody noticed about this FanPost (including me) was that we were picking 31 which means that we lost the Super Bowl.
We certainly got our priorities in order.

yeah, that really pissed me off. The only we are are picking 31st and not 32nd is if the Patriots get caught cheating again and lose their first round pick

you'd rather the Patriots lose in the next SB than the Colts win it?

I think
he means that the Colts would originally have no. 32.
But if the Patriots get their pick taken, everyone behind them moves up one, since there would only then be 31 picks in the first round.

Capers
I know nothing about him, so I may have to watch WV play now. I still want to trade down unless some big prospect like Bulaga falls to pick up Mike Johnson and hope that Sam Young falls.

Dan has Bulaga going #4
He might love him more than I do.

1) we’re picking 32nd or 20th (or whatever our earliest pick would be)
2) I say we trade our entire draft this year and next year if needed, for that Suh or Duh or whatever kid from Nebraska. He probably wouldn’t even fit in our system, but the dude is a man.

Selvish is a stupid name
and mock drafts are stupid even when they’re in April. In October, they’re stupid times ten.
All the mocks at this time last year had Moala AND Maualuga going in the top 5. How’d that work out for those two guys?

Off-topic but
In the UFL game, Quinn Gray just threw a 50 yard pass to Craphonso Thorpe. It’s like an old Colts preseason game!

That's amazing.
Not that those 2 players happened to appear on the same team, it’s amazing that Quinn Gray was able to throw, and Craphonso Thorpe was able to catch a 50 yard pass. They could never do that before….

Hey
I said Craphonso Thorpe, not Aaron Moorehead.

Why would we draft no one?

King said
“If we draft anyone”…..implying that we have the option to draft noone….or that the possibility even realistically exists.

That’s not what I was implying although I can see where you guys made that connection. What that statement means is out of anyone that gets drafted, Brandon Spikes is the guy I want.
