I'm watching Steelers-Lions.

It’s strangely entertaining.

Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.

Man, I need a life...

Ripping the ball away from the DB on an underthrown deep ball. Of course, the Cowboy offense is sputtering inside the 10 now.

Romo had ALL DAMN DAY to throw there on third down and got nothing. FG chance to tie now.

The Dolphins have a smartly designed power running Wildcat with great blocking. The Eagles have this lazy “well shit, we have Mike Vick, and he’s even less accurate than our regular QB, but he’s fast, what should we do” napkin-drawn wildcat. It’s kind of funny.

Most everyone else, even Peyton, hangs them a bit short – Flacco just fires missiles over their heads.

It’s actually much safer. Looks a lot worse though. At least the WR can slow down and make an attempt at a short throw. The Wallace TD from Ben was a great example (though if the DB turned around, it would’ve hit him right in the chest).

Simply awful.

I’m sure there may have been other days like this, but with the Colts at 1. At least in those we would have something to watch closely. Instead we get this comedy of errors. Sloppiest play I’ve ever seen.

not sure if the college rules are the same

but Iowa had a play like that in their blowout of Minnesota. Gunner just totally blew up the guy trying to block him and the blocker flew into the returner while he was trying to catch the punt. Muffed, recovered by Iowa.
