Week Five: Indianapolis Colts (4-0) at Tennessee Titans (0-4)- Open Thread

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans, Oct 11, 2009 8:20 PM EDT

Gamedaythreadlogo1coltstitans_medium

Week Five: Indianapolis Colts (4-0) at Tennessee Titans (0-4)
Location: LP Field; Nashville, TN
Kick-off Time: 8:20pm Eastern

Broadcast: NBC
SB Nation Co-Blog: Music City Miracles

The records for both these teams don't matter. Yes, that is a tired phrase, but the reason it is tired is because it is true. The Titans are fighting for their lives as an 0-5 start would all but doom their season. They will likely play all out and hold nothing back. It's these kinds of games that often turn into tough, hard-nosed contests.

As reported by ESPN's Paul Kuharsky, and posted here by shake n bake, Bob Sanders will not play in this game. Charlie Johnson is also inactive, meaning Tony Ugoh will play left tackle tonight.

This is your open thread for yet another Indianapolis Colts primetime game, the third in four weeks.

Go Colts!

4 for passing TDs, 1 point for every 25 yards

Normally, I'd say get the points on the board and kick the FG...

… but I’ll be glad to bite back my advice and “settle” for the touchdown. :D Sure, it was a bit early to be going for it. So what? Indy’s got the lead now, and against a team that’s not explosive offensively. The lead is much better than having played it safe.
