What do you guys think about the Colts signing him? It seems he had a good 2008 but he is 33.

After watching Rushing on Sunday,

anything would be better.

"You can't defend the perfect throw, what can I say?" Peyton quoting Marino

From your article;

Rossum was coming off one of his best seasons in 2008, having set career highs of 26.8 yards per kickoff return and 14.9 per punt return. The kickoff average ranked third in the NFC while the punt mark was second best in the NFL.

Heck, yeah, we should pick him up.

IMO a good returner and two starting tackles is all this team needs at this point.

Sounds like a really great idea!

I wonder would there be any salary problems to consider?

I don't know

I’m all for cutting Simpson (why in God’s name did they resign him anyway????) and signing a good kick returner (I think Rushing is still decent at punt returning if Jennings isn’t blocking for him).

BUT

I also noticed that every time Rushing was returning the blocking was just downright awful. Heck, defenders were all over him before Rushing even got to anywhere near the 20 yard line!

So I think a good returner would definitely help, but blocking is far greater concern.

Oh no!

the weakest part of our team at the moment is special teams imagine what the offense would do if they got better field positioning than the 20 or 25 yard line everytime. if they give garcon less snaps when gonzo comes maybe he can start returning kicks it would be better than tj

Signed by Dallas

How can you not love a team that does this?
