I'm shocked by this,

Coming from another QB, this is huge.
PEYTON MANNING IS THE GREATEST QB WHO EVER PLAYED.

How can you not love a team that does this?

If Vince Young is inthe top 25% you have to believe STEVE Young is

About top 5%

Hey Pats fans, who do you think knows more about all-time great QBs, Steve Young or you?

I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

They are all great

but I hope it never happens (a Manning bowl).

Too much tension, too much pressure. It may end up like all those Williams sisters finals in tennis.

No

It is a great time for Peyton to show Eli that he is the younger Manning brother.

yeah it is a great time

I know Peyton would win it, but Eli is also playing at an amazing level, so it wouldn’t be that easy. Both are Manning, which is like, being from Olimpus or something so it would be an amazing duel

But

I might feel sorry for Eli. He always looks so pitiful anyway!

What about middle siblings?

Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.

Man, I need a life...

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: The national anthem of Greece has 158 verses. Wonder how long it would take to sing that before a game.

First Mariotti, now Young

The media is finally starting to finally realize what all Colts fans already know…..and that is that Peyton Manning is the best football player of all time. It’s hard to believe they’re just now seeing this.

its just Peyton has done this

for many seasons now. If he keeps it up, he’s earning the MVP again, no question about it. He has been AMAZING to say the least and since he’s breaking records every second that passes, then its OBVIOUS that when he retires, he will be the greatest player to ever play the game. Heck, he will break the all-time record for total records broken…

agreed

I find it kind of funny that just NOW the media starts giving credit where credit is due. There was always the argument they (the media) used, was “Peyton has Marvin Harrison who is one of the best ever” well, look now…..he doesn’t, and he’s making rookies look like damn probowlers!!

by harbaughmyhero on Oct 14, 2009 9:00 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

as you say, Reggie, Dallas

Austin and Pierre are all looking like probowlers.

I can already see the Pro Bowl, like 6 Colts on offense (QB, C, WR, TE) and 5 other guys…

Great..Another NFL conspiracy and we have to play you. Once the NFL sniffs this possibility (like NE’s undefeated record) we will be hosed by the refs. Good grief Charlie Brown.

Glad to help.

We seem particularly good at ruining the decade or three for Baltimore fans.

Does the Peyton recognition have anything to do with

Eli’s more consistent play?

It almost seems that the media wants to praise Eli for his great play as of late, but then they remember that Peyton has been doing it for 10 years now!

I don't see a Manning bowl this year...

I see the Saints playing against the Colts in Miami this year. I think that the Giants beat the Saints on Sunday but that the Saints win the rematch in the NFC Championship Game.
