Latest roster moves around the league
Notables:
Obviously you all know Stover was signed and Ed was cut.
WR Sam Giguere was added to the practice squad, CB Terrail Lambert was removed.
RB Kory Sheets was activated from the practice squad for the Dolphins. I didn't even know the Dolphins picked him up.
LB Marcus Freeman was booted from the Bills practice squad. Interesting.
The Pats signed Seau, again.
Former Colts DT Terrance Taylor was added to the Panthers' practice squad. Ron Meeks you sly devil you!

I bleed burnt orange and speed blue
I’d also like to see Jordan Shipley go from wearing burnt orange to speed blue.

Burnt orange is not the greatest color...

Nothing beats their all-white unis, though. And as much as I dislike USC, I hope they beat ND for ya.

It's now clear
That Ron Meeks can’t stop the run.
Carolina’s D is godawful against the run this year.
I am as big a Colt homer that there is...

My college FB notes so far
I really really want the Colts to draft Adrian Clayborn and Amari Spievey in 2011

Clayborn was engaged with and driving back the Wisconsin LT with one arm
while reaching one and putting 250lb RB John Clay straight to the ground with the other
Spievey has had three big hits, 2 in run support and a great job as a punt gunner, getting down to the returner right went the ball did on a 54 yard punt.

I think
The three DPI they DIDN’T call against USC is more egregious, but we are obviously on different sides of this…..
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
well what about...
generous spots for ND and missed late hits from Notre Dame?

you gotta admit...
that fourth down spot was BS… even though ND didn’t get it.

time is supose to stop when the play id blown dead though thats why when a TD is
scored it stops as soon as the whistle blows and signal made

Epic fail by Clausen
had a open WR for the TD and no pressure. missed badly

The receiver he threw to slipped on his route. It wasnt Clausen’s fault

Looks like this turned into an impromptu college game day thread
Just got back from the Cal-UCLA game – sooooo happy that Tedford finally got his first win in LA! Jahvid Best acted as more of a decoy than a real threat today (except for when he surged through all sorts of traffic to rip off a 93-yard TD). But it doesn’t matter – we won – woohoo!
Sad to see that Notre Dame lost after coming so close to forcing OT. And I’m really bummed that Bradford apparently re-injured his shoulder – hope he can recover to be a factor in the pros.
Catch up with y’all tomorrow, probably not until the afternoon game… driving back from LA to the Bay Area in the morning.
How can you not love a team that does this?
