Great play
Keep showing Favre EVERY PLAY, CBS.
This is awful coverage of what is turning out to be an amazing game.

so... if you have to go to overtime to beat the Rams by 3, do you still get to celebrate?

What an annoying slate of 1:00 games.
Bad play and bad coaching galore, topped off by a great game from Favre and the 2nd worst announcer Favre Love of the year just to make it all that much better. And the Giants didn’t bother to show up.
It has been kind of a shitty couple of weeks for quality play. Lots of mistakes league-wide.
Hopefully this Pats-Titans game will be brutal and pain-filled for both sides. That’d cheer me up.
darn it i thought the ravens had it but oh we.. that a second loss for me
flacco is really showing what he is made of and that he doesn’t fold under pressure though and i like it

Really?
It’s supposed to be a CBS DH. I take it you live in one of their markets and they are super fun and nice and black out the game opposite the local team?
I hate that.
yeah
only a few markets do that.
Including in the bay area. So for years when both teams sucked, the entire bay area would get only 2 games, both featuring their two crap teams, and never any of the good national broadcasts. It was football hell.
Hasselbeck will probably be what decides another 6-1 fantasy week, or a .500ish week.

Wow, Saints-Giants still isn't over?
I think that’s about all the evidence you need for the Saints running up the score. Game hasn’t been close since the first few minutes and the clock still hasn’t gotten run down.

Eh
They’ve tried, they’re just not getting first downs on the ground and the Giants are putting the ball in the air successfully.

Awful call in the Jets game
and for some reason Ryan accepts it to give the Bills another chance at 3rd down, which is still easily in FG range.
Don’t quite understand that.
Of course, then the Bills false start, so now it’s 3rd and 18.

there's a head to head game down the road that'll be the tiebreaker

OK, here's a perfect example of the uselessness of Dierdorf:
He was so busy sucking off Brett Favre that he never once mentioned the relatively minor detail that pro bowl corner Winfield was out of the game for the Vikings.
Maybe, just maybe, that had a tiny little bit to do with why the Ravens were able to start moving up and down the field?
Winfield left in the 2nd Quarter with a foot injury and they didn’t even bother to bring it up. Incredible.
Is that why Favre looked so relaxed?

They choked in the last part of the game.
They turned the ball over on 2 or 3 straight possessions. If the Browns had any semblance of an offense, they would have caught up and probably beat the Steelers, and I’m being completely serious. It was an ugly 3rd and 4th quarter like most of them seem to be for the Steelers.

I kind of want the Pats to score 60, just for the hell of it.
"that may have been the best play Brady has made all year"
as the ball wobbles its way down to the back of the end zone to a wide open Moss, who was again just standing there waiting for it to show up.
Die, Simms.
Come on, man
He adjusted his throw to the route change and threw to where Moss would be, into the wind, on the run, about to get hit.
He’s playing well.

it went straight downfield. Not across his body or anything. Wobbled like a duck.

Nah
Fisher’s fine. This isn’t on him.
They lost their dominant lineman, which changes everything, plus their LBs are aging and their DBs are hurt and/or terrible.
Them dropping off was an obvious pick.
Of course, I picked a drop to 8-8, not 0-6. This is a bit extreme. Hard to pin it on Fisher though.
I know that Vince isnt gonna be the answer

NCIS LA? Really?
I’ve had just about enough with the procedural evidence/CSI shows. First CSI. That succeeds, so they rip it off to make NCIS. Then they spawn CSI Miami and CSI NY. Now NCIS LA? That’s FIVE of the EXACT SAME SHOW!
Except NCIS is poorly written and poorly acted. CBS is obviously out of ideas.
Pfft

What is it with the Pats and snow?
Last year in this weather they rolled up some absurd point total on the Cards too.
Snow is overrated in terms of its affect on the game, passing especially – but still. The weather just really exaggerates the Pats edge in preparation over these other bad teams.

Exactly why I hate the Pat's
Wheres the article from last week about the New England sports writer asking why “Peyton was throwing the ball in the 4th q to pick up the 300 yards”, like the Colts should have been ashamed of themselves.
Yet, here;s New England throwing on every down and calling timeouts when they were up 38-0 before the half. Typical.
yea exactly and brady has over 300 yards in the first half would get the passing record
easy if he plays next quarter at this rate

its not because its Tom Brady
Its because the Titans pass defense does not exist. It would be easier to have world peace than to have the titans defend some friggin passes…Put Derek Anderson, David Carr, Russell, T-Jax…ANYONE and they would have at least 3TD passes

Pathetic display by the Tennessee Titans. Im glad they are losing like that. I fkn hate the Patriots, but playing like that, they just deserve it.
Heck, even JaMarcus Russell would have 1,000 TD passes

Brady isn't back
Tennessee just played probably the worst quarter of defensive football in NFL History. Nobody was even near Brady and the receveivers were so wide open Jamarcus Russel could have had 5 Touchdowns. Tennessee looks totally uninspired. They were against us.
