I spent the whole day today with a feeling of... reminisce. Reminisce on the Colts of times past... And i couldn't finish the day better than the 06' championship video and the huge comeback on here. Wow. what a way to end a day i spent 3 hours on youtube and NFL.com looking up stats and vids, prior to seeing or hearing of either of these 2 videos. Eerie. 

Anyways.... 

So i was thinking, watching those 2, who remembers a few of these things...

-Rob Morris cleaning up at MLB before Gary Brackett came to.

-Who Mike Doss. He used to be the Bob Sanders, but healthy. Back when Doss was a Boss, Sanders was like the Bethea, the new guy, still has a lot to prove.

-Harrison in his prime, you used to spell his name S.W.A.G.G.E.R. Harrison. He didn't celebrate, he didn't rub things in. He just(unlike SO many athletes now a days) preformed on the field, not in front of news conferences and reporters.

-Manning's "quarterback" 3 bar face-mask, that couldn't prevent him breaking his jaw(and playing with a wired jaw!!)

-Reggie Wayne being like Garcon(sadly, no squiggly line on the c =[ ) The quick, young new guy, a fan favorite and a talented young guy just starting his career under a future HOFer(not saying Reg will make the HOF, but its highly probable)

-RCA dome, and how it looks like a baseball, compared to Lucas Oil, a basketball

-We(Colts fans, and overall anyone in the NFL) thought Mike Vanderjagt was a good, clutch kicker..(steelers, 05, playoffs.. dang... that broke my heart over any other loss)

-We got Adam (Vinny-T) thinking he was still the glorious Adam, but then he has blown several games including the infamous Chargers game.. Playoffs?! PLAYOFFS??!!

-(related to the playoff speech) The live Press Conference with Jim Mora Sr. Playoffs? I was 5 and didnt see it live, however i saw a VCR of my friends dad that lived in Indy for 15 years, and he told me how he saw the game live and the interview.. PLAYOFFS??!!??! -Quick note, i spend more time talking to His dad than hanging with him... sad.. i know

-Hunter Smith holding our kicks- I remembered this when i saw the MNF game, and realized this, we were one of the first teams to put a non 2nd string QB to hold kicks. Think about it. Now most teams have Special Teams people, but it used to be a backup QB gig...

-Nick Harper- Getting stabbed in the thigh by his wife, and still ALMOST pick-6ing the-would-be superbowl champs, but however got tackled by Ben and well.. the rest is Mike-History(Fail)

-Coach Dungy becoming the first black head coach to win a SB. That was a great day for many reasons.

-The '04 season. Quick facts on it people forget: It was special for more reasons that Manning's 49 TD's. 3 Receivers had 1k Yards and 10 TD's, as well as Manning reaching his record in 15, not 16 games(last one he played under 1q... And most of all, forgotten that the "Edge" rushed for OVER 1500 Yards. Yeah. Good year...

-Manning's throw to Stokely to break the record? I remember that play perfectly. The route, the throw, watching teh defender slip and fall. Oh and most will forget this part, this TD and the 2 point conversion by James that followed tied the game after a 15-0 comeback, Down from 30-16 in the 4th. Then the Colts drove down, with help from a deep Manning completion, and Mike Vanderjact(unlike himself) split the uprights on a GQ overtime fieldgoal. w00t!

-Manning being called "Soft" When he has never missed a game...

-Manning being called a Choker after 3 MVP's, Most 4th quarter comebacks behind Favre(been around since before i was alive. literally), and having put up the most perfect passer ratings in a playoff game in NFL history? Man. He needs to stop choking!

Man. This is just me with a post before bed. I had to get it out, sorry for the lack to better/more moments.

(I would just like to say) Before people criticize me, that i did see most of these live ,or do remember them . Just because i wasn't 20 when they happened doesn't meant i don't remember them. =D

1 or 2 of these i saw some examples of live, and others in highlight vids, but most of them i remember from my own memory, not a recording.
