Who is Bob Sanders "The Hitman"?
Bob Sanders has missed a lot of games sidelined by injuries, our coaching/F.O decision after his injuries has been always to rest him until he's close to 100% , i bet he's been wanting to play weeks ago, he plays so damn hard and so damn good that it is worth the extra care and extra time on getting him ready to play and our team having the luxury of another great safety on Bullit there is no need to rush him.
Bob "The Hitman" Sanders bring much more to the table than his award winning stellar and beastly performance, he is a guy that inspires and help boost the confidence of his teammates to new levels. When he's on the field the whole defense takes a Sanders vibe, in other words they turn to animals.
We fans have a short memory and his absence from the field for many weeks will always bring up controversy on how valuable his is to our defense, i'm not going to tell you exactly how valuable he is, i'm going to let the Hitman show you.
Update: I have created a twitbbon in honor to Bob Sanders return:
Bob Sanders #21 is Back!
2007 defensive player of the year, Bob "The Hitman" Sanders returns from injury and will be playing this sunday with his team the Indianapolis Colts, as fans of this NFL great we will wear his jersey on our twitter avatar as a celebration of Bob's return to the field. Go Colts! Go Hitman!

If we see a few of those on Sunday...
and if Bob can stay healthy for the rest of the season, I think all of the “get rid of Sanders” talk will go away. I also think we’ll be super scary on D. Have to admit, I kinda needed that refresher video. Thanks for posting it!

God I love him
How can you not love a team that does this?

Drool tends to short out your keyboard.
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.
Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: The national anthem of Greece has 158 verses. Wonder how long it would take to sing that before a game.

i love him
but it’s easy to get a montage of his 10 greatest plays, and forget all of the plays on which he got injured. like i said, i like him, but that video proves nothing.

It proves he's a hell of a football player.
What would it take to impress you? For him to stay injury free? His injuries take nothing away from what he’s done.

An amazing player who gives his all every play. Imo, he’s still one of the elite db’s in the league…injuries and all. It was good to see him on the field and not the sideline.

I’ll admit I forgot his true impact.
Then in one play, I went “Oh yeah…” haha
Either way, this D is the best Colts D I’ve ever seen. With Bob I believe it can be better but I’m not holding my breath. With the way we’ve played having Bob full time would be kind of like finding out that the worlds hottest woman was in love with you and then you found out she was rich too. It would be great to get him back but Melvin is more than capable to fill in.
