Colts Quotes
From what I saw and read in the paper, there were a LOT of Colts fans at yesterdays game. It didn't go un-noticed by the players.
In Peyton's post game podium comments he thanked all the fans that made the trip.
Dallas Clark had this to say, "When we were introduced, it felt like we were at a home game".
Dwight Freeney, "Colts fans showed up in droves, it felt like we were home".
Jeff Saturday said,"I Love going to an away game and seeing all the Colts jerseys, it makes you play harder".
Congratulations to all our fans who made the trip or live nearby. You did make a difference, and the players loved it.
Peyton also moved past Warren Moon yesterday in all time completions. Said Peyton, "I'm humbled". He's so classy. Sorgi even got in a good quote on his part of the game, "Crisp, clean, handoff!"
One last quote that I just couldn't resist adding:
"We got our butts kicked and it's as simple as that", Mark Bulger.
Peyton didn't get his 300 yd, game, but he didn't need to. When you're running well and your defense scores, that's a well balanced game.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

Try a 4.6! Suck on that other back up QBs!
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
Greatest Colts quote this year though
was when Jim Mora said
“we played greatness”
about Peyton. I could not describe Peyton any better.

That is the best. I also liked it when someone called him the terminator.

Not sure bout anyone else
but I loved “the sherriff” which is what Jon Gruden called him throughout the Monday Night game.

A lot people here really clowned Gruden for that nickname
Personally, I feel Peyton doesn’t need a nickname. Let that clown Tom Brady aka Tom Terrific aka The Golden Boy be the king of nicknames.
"Do I believe in aliens?" Stephon Marbury asked. "I don't know, because I've never seen one. But I believe in Jesus because I saw him in the shower the other day."
I think you're right, Peyton doesn't need a nickname.
I can see why Gruden calls him that, but really all you have to say is Peyton.

I just thought that
“the sherriff” was pretty original and witty. Of course, he will always be Peyton to me and to all NFL fans. In fact, screw Eli, when you say Manning, we all know who we are talking about.

It's Manning
And Baby Manning or Little Bro.
There’s only one ‘Manning’.

I think most people just say Peyton. Because there's only one.

until I have a son
but then again, he’ll never get an official name because my husband and I will fight over whether it should be Peyton or Brady – LOL
How can you not love a team that does this?
You, as the mother,
have final access to the Birth Certificate.
Just thought I’d share. ;-)

good info to have
I’ll make sure to dangle that in front of the hubby. That might close the door forever on having kids!!

My husband wasn't even around,
when they brought in the birth cert. I could have put anything I wanted. BTW- my 19 yr. old is named Tom. UGH-didn’t know about Brady 20 yrs. ago, or I would have re- thought that one. That’s why I call my son Tommy or Thomas.

I know a good divorce attorney. Just lemme know.
