Injuries, Injuries, Injuries...
This is getting kind of scary right now...here are the non-practice participants according to Colts.com:
Donald Brown - Shoulder (wonder what is going on, a lot of conflicting info)
Reggie Wayne- Groin (he played after it happened Sunday...I hope he can play. Remember, he went to the U, he is tough!)
Dwight Freeney - Knee (not too worried, he rests a lot of practices)
Eric Foster - Shoulder?????
Gonzo- Knee (figured he would practice this week...I am a little disappointed)
Marlin Jackson - Knee (Same thoughts as Gonzo)
Adam V- Knee (No suprise here)
This concerns me a little because I expect the 49ers to put up a good fight and we need Wayne, Foster, and Freeney to be good to go. Maybe I am over-reacting. Any thoughts?

Only two I am worried about are
Wayne and Brown. Freeney isn’t hurt, and I thought it was doubtful that Gonzo would play. I’m not comfortable with Pierre Garcon, Austin Collie, and Hank Baskett as the wide receivers though. I would miss Brown, but I think that Mike Hart and Chad Simpson could give Peyton the little bit of running game he needs to pick apart a defense.

Dont forget about Dallas!
You are right, we still have a good chance w/o Wayne and Brown…I still dont like it! Like I said I am sure Freeney is OK, they rest him a lot. Foster is a suprise though and he has been awsome lately.

You're over re-acting a little,
The only one I’m worried about is Reggie. He’s the key to our offense.

Over reacting about injuries
Is getting contagious around here… But like you said Lori, Wayne is the only one on the list that actually matters.
Guru, Freeney is not hurt and Foster HAS been playing well, but if he misses a game does it mean we are a more likely to lose? I think not. Be easy, seems that a lot of people have forgotten that the team is 6-0 and looking like the best team in the NFL, With 2 rookies playing corner and Jennings at nickel….holy crap thats amazing!
Relax and ENJOY what’s going on, instead of looking at mid-week injury list and getting upset about crap.

corners...
I don’t know if i even want Jackson back at corner unless he is taking Hayden’s spot at CB or Jennings spot in Nickle. Lacey is the best “real” corner we’ve had on the colts in the last decade. He actually plays more of a man coverage than most of the soft cover 2 corners we’ve had. He is within striking distance when receivers are making catches. Sure, he may get burned deep a time or two, but the man is outplaying anything I’ve seen from Hayden or Jackson in past years. We need CBs that can cover in man when we send some LBs on our new blitzes. We can’t play 5 yards (10 yards in Jennings case) off the LOS and hope the blitzers get there in time.

So you trust a rookie that much eh
Lacey and Powers are both great corners, but they are still rookies.
Hayden and Jackson are proven. The only specific situations where we need Lacey and Powers are blitzing situations, otherwise get ready to get burned by deep threats like Moss.
Oh no!

Brown is a rookie
I would rather have him in than Addai. An example on D would be that Bethea did really well starting his rookie year. The best players should be on the field. Not saying Jackson is worse, but that theory isn’t valid

O is different from D
Messing up once doesn’t cost you 7 points (usually), so Brown can afford to make more mistakes. But if you are playing corner, you better be ready to not make any mistakes because just ONE can mean the difference between a TD and no TD easily. I’m not saying Lacey and Powers are bad (They are very impressive), but saying that they are the “best”? That’s really pushing it.
Oh no!

2nd week in a row I forgot the Wednesday injury/practice report
I’m losing it

I'm just a little concerned, mainly about Reggie and Brown
But I am pretty sure they’ll do the right thing vis-a-vis resting or playing the guys for the games that matter a bit more (AFC/Pats) coming next. Remember how injured we’ve been at CB all along and have a pretty highly rated pass D.
If a few of these guys are scratches for Sunday, then I’ll start to actually worry. But SF shouldn’t be too much of an obstacle as they are in a bit of turmoil as well (QB, OL, etc).
I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

You forgot one guy
Sander’s (Constant injuritis)
Reggie doesn’t worry me as much. Brown is kind of sad, since he was having a pretty good game, but I think Addai and whoever is behind him should be sufficient.
