One For the Ladies - The NFL's Best Looking Defense & ST
Here is the "sister" post to the NFL's Best Looking Offense.
DT: Fili Moala, Colts
I like him better without the big Polynesian hair.
DT: Kevin Williams, Vikings
Kevin, forget about Tasha, this is LB here...
DE: Dwight Freeney, Colts
via lh6.ggpht.com
Mr. Freeney, I wouldn't dig for gold... I promise!
DE: Osi Umenyiora, Giants
via www.topnews.in
What secret is Osi hiding? Oh, that he's hot? That's no secret!
LB: Jason Taylor, Dolphins
JT is beautiful in many ways, and we know he can dance as well!
LB: Bradie James, Cowboys
via www.ywca.org
I love that he's enjoying himself with these women, AND he's in a pink tie - now that takes a man!LB: Patrick Willis, 49ers
via prod.static.49ers.clubs.nfl.com
I love the players who are active in kids' events!
CB: Nnamdi Asomugha, Raiders
via media.monstersandcritics.com
This man is beautiful - clean cut, well spoken, and a Cal grad (of course). The only curious question is... why has he stayed so loyal to the Raiders? Yes, I know he has a huge contract, but he's spoken well of his team for years... and I respect that.
CB: Champ Bailey, Broncos
Great smile!
S: Darren Sharper, Saints
via api.ning.com
He's close to retirement, but still got it!
S: Kerry Rhodes, Jets
I <3 NY!
K: Adam Vinatieri, Colts
Toga! Toga! Toga!
via exploretheconcretebeach.files.wordpress.com
This is a picture of Daniel from his days at Baylor.
KR: Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars
via i.a.cnn.net
Ok I may be cheating here a bit including MJD as a kick returner, but this is my post and my rules! I couldn't exclude him from my list. He's got a great - if not somewhat sad - story, and seems to have pulled through unscathed. Plus, I love the players who are friends to animals!
LS: L.P. Ladouceur, Cowboys
I am so bummed that this was the best picture I could find of L.P., a graduate of - you guessed it - UC Berkeley. I read that L.P. was perfect on all his snaps for the Cowboys last year, and he clearly has a piercing gaze that screams, "I love you, LovinBlue!"
Ok ladies, who you got?

I'm thankful you didn't put Jared Allen and Shawn Merriman in there,
their hair styles knock them out of the competion.
What about Bob Sanders? He is classically handsome. I’ve also secretly thought Mike Vrabel was hot. I can say that now that he’s no longer a Patriot.

Hey....
I’m a guy…but I like the jared allen et al. crazy ass hair…I’m coming to get you, better be ready demeanor. Some others that fall into that class…Clay Matthews, Barret Ruud, Clint Session, among others…just sayin…

I did consider Allen
but he seems to have a bit of a nasty streak that I wasn’t sure would be appreciated.
As a side note, I’m also compiling my version of the “All-Dreads” team…
How can you not love a team that does this?
Sweet on the all dreads team...
that would be a pretty good one!!!

All-Dreads
I love it!!! I was worried that you left Bob Sanders off of this list. I mean the man does have a facebook group dedicated to hm: Isn’t he lovely.
"Do I believe in aliens?" Stephon Marbury asked. "I don't know, because I've never seen one. But I believe in Jesus because I saw him in the shower the other day."
Bob is definitely
a hottie!

Another thought,
Sunday’s without all these beautiful men would be just another day.
Oh, and they play football very well too.

I should have included a disclaimer
that I didn’t read up on the past criminal history or sexually deviant practices of any of these men… my perspective was from what I can see on photos and what little additional information I may have
How can you not love a team that does this?
it's almost certainly not true
but it’s not the kind a rumor you forget, so it comes to mind whenever someone talks about Osi.

About Osi, If it's on the internet it must be true?

As an aside...
I was a student at West Chester University when the Eagles used to have their training camp at the school. Back in the 80s the Eagles used to frequent a bar in the evenings…it was packed with young women just wanting to get close to the hunk men!! Anyway, the one player that they all loved was the punter, I think he was Jeff Feagles. They loved his “buns”. It was insane when he came into the place!! I have fond memories of those days!!
One time I had finished a final…I went across the street into the bar and it was empty. I sat down to a beer and in walks Jim McMahon. It was dark in there and he had on his shades and a t-shirt that said “no autographs please”. He came in and sat next to me and I offered to buy him a beer…he took me up on it and we had a nice conversation. Nothing about football…just shootin the shit!!! Real good time and one that I will always remember. I like Jim McMahon.

Great story!
But did you at least get a look at his buns? ;-)
How can you not love a team that does this?
I know defense wins championships
but it also wins in the looks category as well. Explain to me why they have to play with those stupid helmets??? ;-)

Some of them I have to disagree with, as there being better looking men at that position.
Don't question my fandominium.

looking forward to your proposals
(again, not challenging, just honestly curious!)
How can you not love a team that does this?
Alright, here they are...
I’d just replace “Automatic Adam” on the grounds I find David Akers to be better looking. And I was going to try to replace Kevin Williams but then I realized that that was right on because when it comes to that position there aren’t many lookers. But other than that, I can say I agree although I would want to add Joey Porter ;)

Why's Kevin Willams getting all the love

How can you not love a team that does this?

Thanks for putting up the injury report
As for the Williams’ brothers, I came across this picture and almost used it because I think Kevin looks better in it than the one I originally used, but didn’t want people to think I was pointing out his bro!!
How can you not love a team that does this?
im sure you all know
but incase you didn’t they are in no way related to eachother :)

I saw Fili at the USC-ND game
It had to be him. Huge Polynesian guy, had the same beard, it was a bye week, USC guy. I’m sticking with that.

How about this from CHFF?
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.
Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: This video right here has produced one of my favorite lines ever. It was so awesome that there has been 2 sequels. One where you must put a banana in your ear, and another where you must grab their tongues. Purely awesome.
