Tennessee- Our next opponent
It's been a while since Tennessee has recorded a win. The last win they had was when they beat Pittsburgh at the end of last season. Why is that so significant? That was the game where Lendale White stomped on the "terrible
towel" at the end of the game. Since then Tennessee has done nothing. I guess that is what happens when you don't treat your opponents with respect. Looks like the football gods have taken their revenge on the Titans.
Seriously, this is an excellent opportunity for the Colts to start eliminating the options for the other teams in the division. While we cannot eliminate anybody next week, we can make their path to a division title very difficult. This team is getting better in every area each week, and our offense has the potential to be as good as any offense the Colts have ever had.
One thing we might look out for is Tennessee turning to Vince Young. They really have nothing to lose, as a loss will pretty much end their shot at a division title and make a wild card shot a long shot possibility at best.
A win in Tennessee and a 5-0 record going into the bye week would be sweet.

Agreed
but this game is no gimmie game. The Colts cant go into this one lightly. Which since is a divisional game, Im sure they will plan on bringing the heat. Also Tenn has ran the ball well against the Texans and I expect them to run just has hard against the Colts, so the run D will have to bring their A game. As far as VY goes, he may be hard for the Colts to plan for. We havent seen him in a season and a half now. And that dude can run the football really good too! Its gonna be a good game, a knock out, drag out fight but I think the Colts will go into the BYE 5-0
GO COLTS!!!!

5 games up on Tennessee 5 weeks into the season
That sounds awesome.

Wouldn't be like 5.5 because we have the tie-breaker over them?
How can you not love a team that does this?

This is going to be a tough, tough game for the Colts. The game will be in Tennessee against a team playing for their season against the Colts, who they hate. I would like to see us pound the ball with the run and knock some heads on defense. Going 5-0 into a BYE week would be great. However, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Fisher will pull out all the stops
Fischer is getting desperate for a win, and this becomes a MUST win for the Titans already, if they want any hope of doing anything but getting high draft picks this year. Fischer will probably try every trick play, every go for it in fourth and whatever… It is a scary game, because of that type of mentality.

Nice chance
for the Colts here as the Titans are completely demoralized. However, titans will play tough and will surely be the hardest game for the Colts so far. Maybe the score will be 13-38 for Indy but it wont be that easy.
About Tennessee, in my humble opinion, they started this season wrong by simply keeping Collins as the starting QB, but Young wasnt the ideal guy either…

Tennesse will be extremely pissed off now,
They’ll want to win this prime time game badly.
It’s going to be tough. Unless they start VY and he gets booed, and goes mental again. Seriously though, the Colts can’t let up. We really need a cut-throat mentality going into this game. My big question for next Sunday would be: Can we expect to see Sanders play some football?

This will be a tough game, for sure.
They always play us tough, no matter how the rest of their season is going.
While I’m a little nervous for this one (if we lose, Jax has would be 2-1 in div and we would be 1-1 – that makes me want to gag), I still cannot help thinking that if Gerrard threw all over them, Peyton will decimate their secondary. I mean, really.

To me..
This is a dangerous game. No way did I expect the Titans to go 0 – 5. Jacksonville started out sucking wind and appears to have come out of it. Titans absolutely have the ability to turn it around…..not playoffs, but they can do enough to play .500 ball. This is the NFL, any given Sunday.

I really don't think that this will be a tough game
for our Colts. I think Tennessee is in total disarray. The Colts are firing on all cylinders (except for Tim Jennings), and the Colts rock in primetime especially. I think it will be another blow-out, and Peyton will continue to light it up and set new records. I love the fact that our receiver corp is so strong. I haven’t even heard the name Hank Baskett mentioned lately? Also, Freeney and Mathis are terrorizing the league. This is beautiful! Enjoy it!

You're welcome Indy Lori...
And, even though I’m so confident, I realize that the team never takes anyone lightly and they prepare like nobody else, that’s why I AM so confident. While we all know anything can happen in any game, the odds that the Colts dominate in primetime are great. I like to go with the odds. And, now that the team is making great things happen on both sides of the ball, they’re even more of a pleasure to watch. Some day we’ll all look back on this unique era we call the Manning years with great awe and admiration. Let’s just sit back and watch greatness as it unfolds. Gotta love the Colts!

Never under-estimate the Titans
Few coaches know how to play the Colts as well as Jeff Fisher. And the Titans are almost half composed of former Colts players. And as Bobby Knight always used to say with his last game next game theory, that when you lose you are all that more driven to win. And often after a big win you can get lax. We’ve all seen what the Titans kicker can do when the game is close. The Colts need to treat this game as being just as important as every other game and put their A game on and win. Tennessee will be hungry for the win. And I’m sure they’d love to use beating the Colts who are now 5-0 as a rallying cry to turn their season around. The Colts need to win this game and help put the Titans somewhat effectively out of the AFC South championship hunt.

We will win
As long as we can be at least decent against the run, then we can easily beat them. Heres the way I see it going.
Our offence passes all over them, Gerrard did it so Peyton will have no problem. As long as our run D can force them to a few 3rd and longs, we will stop them. Collins is playing badly, and our secondary and pass rush are playing pretty damn well, an easy matchup for us in that respect. The further we get into the lead, the more they will need to pass, and the more and more we get into the lead. I expect a 14 + point lead definitely, I don’t care how desperate they are.
