Week Four Sunday Night Game- Open Thread #2
You Sunday night chatters are crazy! A game that doesn't feature the Colts generates over 700 comments!
The Chargers just scored a TD on a fumble on a kick return to make this thing a little bit of a game. Enjoy!

this is awesome
"[The Giants] beat us down. We were beat by a grown-man team, a team we want to be like one day. They came in here and took it to us. Out-manned us, out-gunned us. ... It wasn't even close." - Raheem Morris, 9/27/09
is it just me...
or are the stillers getting the benefit of some uncalled holding by their line?
Go Colts!
HB Pass?
Now the Steelers are just screwing with them.

In one of my teams, yeah
It’s an online salary cap league, if I win the week I win a Colts jersey.
by eltharion_doa on Oct 4, 2009 11:15 PM EDT up reply actions
At this point
If you are up 28-0 and you get outscored 28-7 that quickly I will cheer against you. It’s pathetic.
"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."
So weird
This is the worst best game I’ve ever seen.
"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."
agreed...
epic fail on both sides. I never so enjoyed a game where I hate both teams.
Go Colts!

next thing you know
Kaeding is going to get two chances to win the game in overtime… because Harrison got called for leaping during the first attempt.
LOL
I was just thinking about that game!

It might not be...
Steelers are almost in FG range, up 7, and as bad as their defense has looked recently, the chargers D looks almost as incompetent.
though Mendenhall is awfully fumbley

Why can't we do this to the chargers?
"Peyton Manning feels no pressure, he applies it"
the Chargers aren't usually missing their star NT
and their center. middle of their lines are gutted

Their defense looks absolutely awful.
And Collinsworth just said “dong” on TV.

Chargers aren't out,
but they’re in a hell of a lot of trouble, especially if Reed can make a mid-40s FG.
Reed will make it...
he can’t miss all the time
Go Colts!

Wind the clock, kick the figgie
No way the Chargers score a TD, recover an onside kick and score again in a minute or so.
They did the same thing earlier pretty much.

Tell that to the guy who's been struck, like, 8 times by lightning

by shake n bake on Oct 4, 2009 11:33 PM EDT up reply actions
the luck statement
the odds of you being struck by lightning 8 times are astronomically small, but the odds of one of the 7 billion people on earth having it happen in their lifetime is much more reasonable. You didn’t mention his luck so it wasn’t directly applicable, but it reminded me of the kind of situation where luck is talked about, without considering the probability I talked about before.

I DO!!
Tom Brady is loosing respect faster than Bret Favre for me. His roughing the passer cry today was rediculous.
I was being sarcastic...
but it is annoying how much the football analysts have a patriot crush, isn’t it?
