Sanders to Start vs. Tennessee?
What's the deal with Sanders? Are we going to unleash the beast vs. Tennessee?
I predict yes, this is why he was NOT on the PUP at the start of the season. However, is it better to go with our current chemistry and let him get 2 full weeks of practice in during the bye week?
Hayden and Bracket should return bumping Jennings to 4th string. Melvin Bullitt is also playing at a very high level. Maybe Bullitt should start and Sanders come of the bench like Marlin Jackson.

Bob
If he were on PUP he would not be able to practice until after week six.

good post
personally I see it as a package deal, after the bye week, bobby, gonzo, kelvin hayden, and dwight freeney will be free and clear of injuries. Essentially I don’t think there is any reason to rush Bob back for the game against the Thumbtacks when we have a good lead in the division already. I know, I know, every division game counts, however if you look at their pass defense….Peyton is going to have a field day against them, and their offense doesn’t scare me. Lendale White is too busy eating off the dollar menu. If we limit Chris Johnson’s production, which is easier said than done, we should win.
It seems more beneficial to me to wait and make sure everyone is healthy, having confidence we can win with the players we have, and then unleash the hounds after the bye…

Maybe it's just me
but I want Bob to play so we can here the Sunday Night cameo introductions “Bob Sanders, Iowa” in front of a national audience.

I think if you get paid to play
then by god if you can, then play. Ask Freeney if you don’t believe me.

I’d rather see Sanders come back 100% after the bye than have him come back at 80-90% when he doesn’t really need to.
Bob Sanders eats a forest on Friday so he can lay the wood on Sunday.

However
I would probably be good for him to get a few snaps before he is really relied on..

Exactly.
He hasn’t played in a game…since when? For a long time.
I’d like to see both Bob and Bullitt in there at the same time…I’m lovin’ me some Bullitt lately.
Off topic: I’m watching the Pitt game last week and they have a LB named Gunn. I thought now wouldn’t that be cool? If we drafted him we’d have a Gunn and a Bullitt. Then he promptly muffed a tackle and I let it go.

Gunn and Bullitt.....
I would love that so much.
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.

LOVE Sanders, But...
At this point – unless we start coming under real pressure in our division – and I realize this is sacrilegious – I say put him under glass with a label that reads ‘Break only in case of Playoffs’ …
The Guy is a Beast – but for the last several years – just too fragile.
Sure sure, for practicality sake – certainly he needs to come back and tune up before then … but seriously … I just want to see him at 100% for what we need most – a monster defense into the playoffs and through a SB win!

I say third choice - play him a few reps
Play him a few reps but leave Melvin Bullett in. See what this DPOY can do. That’ll be a good way to ease him in.
