"FavreNation"

Ok, some of you may have heard of Sportsnation on espn. well I'm watchin it right now and they are all about Brett Favre. Trying to break a record or something. Well the question came up about who is better Favre in his hey day or Peyton Manning right now? Well the host Colin Cowherd is now my most favorite person in the world almost (he's second to Peyton Manning).

He looked the camera straight in the eye and told it like it is. Peyton Manning is flawless. (he may have had a pimple in highschool)

Peyton Manning is getting better with age and Favre is doing the opposite. Peyton will own the touchdown record.

To sum this post up Peyton > Favre.

I was watching Around The Horn,

one of the guys said Peyton was the best QB to ever play the game. He’s getting a lot of praise these days.

Jay Mariotti said that about Peyton

I think he said is peyton arguably the greatest quarterback ever.

"Do I believe in aliens?" Stephon Marbury asked. "I don't know, because I've never seen one. But I believe in Jesus because I saw him in the shower the other day."

Yeah it was Mariotti

Coming from him, it was high praise, because he’s not a Colts Homer.

true

then again, he’s a huge idiot. One of those ones that makes you question your own opinion if he ever agrees with it, because he’s wrong about everything else.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while, I guess.

LOL, that's funny because I DID question it coming from him.

But I liked it none the less.

Peyton Manning is average, maybe okay...

and so is Tom Brady. Come to think about it, so is every other QB in the league today, that ever played in the past, or will ever appear in the future. How can I say such a thing???

In the flashing glow of the Monday Night Football broadcast, after being strangely hypnotized by a god-like presence dressed in purple, listening to the stirred-up and reverent tones of holy-rolling adoration from the high priests and worshippers in the broadcast booth, my eyes have finally been opened.

There is only THE ONE TRUE QUARTERBACK of all time… (cue that ESPN theme that Chris Berman always plays during the highlights)… It’s the ONE, the ONLY… BRETT FAVRE, LORD OF THE NFL.

Keep the faith!

That Favre-fest last night

was absolutely sickening. Particularly when they descibed “what the Packers did to Favre” – Mort actually brought about 60 seconds of reality when he described what really happened.

It was like everyone forgot BF held the Packers hostage for years.

lol

You’ve finally seen the light!

Strangely the bowing down to Favre doesn’t really bother me. Thankfully I also didn’t hear a lot of what was being said last night – I watched with a room full of loud Packers fans… Wisconsin beer, bratwursts, German potato salad, and everything from the balloons and streamers to plates and napkins adorned with the Green Bay logo. It was a ton of fun, until the 8th sack. My poor Aaron Rodgers (Go Bears).

Now THAT sounds like fun.

I felt bad for Rodgers. At different times during the game his eyes looked like a deer caught in the headlights.
I unfortunately listened to all the over the top, misinformation, love fest.
It was sick.

you had the right idea with the party

at least you got to have some fun with it. In a quiet house last night, the broadcast was waaaayyyyy over the top, especially for a week 4 game that meant squat.

Keep the faith!

but it was a division game for them

and we all know how important those are… losing one could mean the difference between getting to the playoffs or not

I know, I know, fair enough...

…that’s what happened to the Pats last year, all 5 losses were in the AFC and the two division losses killed us. I shouldn’t have downplayed that part if the importance, but I guess it seemed like a bit much in the gushing and ceremony departments.

Keep the faith!

Here's a prediction,

Favre is going to injure one of his team mates at some point this season, over celebrating. Or hurt himself. He’s so desperate to prove he’s not growing old.

Didn't you know...

Bret Farve is the only player in the league who plays like a kid…he loves the game sooooo much!! From these posts…it appears he has hit Demigod status!!

"If me and King Kong went into an alley, only one of us would come out. And it wouldn't be the monkey."
"I don't really trust a sane person."
