Week 5: Final Injury Report
Addai back at full speed, Bob back to limited participation and Freeney will not appear on the report in a week he was supposedly not going to be able to play after he practiced fully again today. Hayden and Gonzo ruled out. CJ and Marlin are questionable, but have yet to practice this week. Tony Ugoh got the day off.
At a Glance:
OUT: Anthony Gonzalez, Kelvin Hayden
Doubtful: Bob Sanders (limited Wed/Fri, missed Thurs)
Questionable-no practice: Charlie Johnson, Marlin Jackson.
Questionable-some practice: Joseph Addai
Oesher at IFR has Bob quotes. Sanders sounds upbeat and hopeful, but says it'll be Coach Caldwell, not him who'll make definitive statements about whether Bob plays.
Both Oesher and Phil B doubt Marlin Jackson plays after tweaking the knee which suffered an ACL injury last year.

So,
Brackett is back! That’s great! He could really help us against those 7 yard passes KC loves doing.
The Colts actually listed somebody as doubtful!?!? Could they possibly be doing that to trick Fisher and Co. into thinking he’s definitely not going to play now, and then unveil him Sunday? I sure hope so.
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.

For a second I thought we might see them use all 3 labels
with Addai only having a day of limited participation, but nope. Even though he was back in full Friday he’s questionable.

Yeah,
it would make sense to put Addai as probable. I’d put his odds of playing above 90% right now.

I hope CJ plays.
I was watching some of last Sundays game again, when he went out our protection was not as good. Come on Charlie!

I look at this as
Sanders UPGRADED to Doubtful, lol!
How can you not love a team that does this?

unless a player is listed out
I don’t think any injury report really means much … especially ‘questionable’ I think it is as much a head game as anything else.
Though it would be funny if Caldwell is playing with Fisher’s head about Sanders. Serves him right after some of the stunts he has played on the colts.

What's it all MEAN though?
My head is going to explode.

added some of Oesher and Phil B's commentary to try to help that.

I dont ever remember seeing the colts list someone as doubtful since the new system came out, so I would imagine this is what it all means:
Jackson, Charlie Johnson, Hayden, Gonzo, Sanders: Out
Addai: In
I full expected CJ to practice friday and be ‘questionable’ and for Sanders to practice friday and be ‘questionable’. Other than Freeney, I cannot think of one time someone has practiced 0 days and still played. And again, for Bob, the doubtful tag is pretty telling. Sounds like he’s not in game shape, yet.
