What a douche!

Why is this idiot still hung up on the time of possession stat? The Colts offense had the ball for less than 15 mins and scored more points than Miami who had it for 3x that time. What’s the use of holding on the ball, if you can’t score points?

This clown should’ve said that same thing about the Giants. They allowed the Cowboys to rush for over 200 yds in the same week and their 4 wins came against teams whose combined record in 2-12, so based on his logic, the Giants aren’t that good either since they haven’t played anyone? Why does the media always have to hate on the Colts!?!?! (sighs)

I need to point something out: (emphasis mine)
Victory that Will Spark the Biggest Overreaction
The Colts will beat the moribund Titans to improve to 5-0. And everyone will be saying they are the team to beat again, just as they were in 2006.

But no serious contender — no team with a chance to win three straight playoff games — could let the Miami Dolphins keep the ball away from them for 46 minutes.

The four teams Indy has beaten this season are a combined 5-10. You heard it here first. The Colts are not that good.

Um, didn’t we win the SB in the 2006 season? Didn’t we win 3 straight playoff games in 2006?

No worries, my friend. No worries. =-)

He’s an ass; I actually like the hate here. For some reason the love make me nervous.

That line is so confusing

Did he use the wrong year (maybe he meant 2004 or 2005), or is he implying that this season will be similar to 2006? I prefer the latter. :-)

I think he probably meant 2005...

but he’s an idiot. I’ll take it as a good omen. ;-)

Nope.

I’m sure he meant 2006. These idiots make “mistakes” like that because they have to go back to a stat book to “know” what they’re talking about. What he did was go and look up the year that “that fly-over country team” won the SB, and assumed that was the year that they were “favored”. This fool knows nothing about football.

SHOCKER

Only someone who didn't actually watch all 4 games,

all the way through would say that.

What an idiot

Still, it would be nice to see the Colts play a team that doesn’t suck. A quick glance at the upcoming schedule(@TEN, @STL) shows that that won’t happen until San Francisco comes to town in Week 8.

When a team can win......

With only 14 + minutes of offense while being dominated in the running game, that would indicate massive heart and talent. Colts not that good statement would indicate some degree of retardation, if not plain idiocy.

Complete tool.

Yes, let’s count the ways the Colts aren’t that good:

1. They’ve beaten each team they’ve faced, all 4 of which the Colts should have beaten, including two blowouts.

2. They beat a team that held the ball for 46 minutes. If mean honestly, if the Colts suck because they still won that game. what the fuck does that say about the team that LOST THAT GAME WITH THE BALL FOR SO LONG?! EXPLAIN THAT ONE TO ME GENIUS.

3. Peyton Manning is setting stats he’s never set before in his ENTIRE CAREER this season, but yet the Colts aren’t that good.

4. The Dolphins game was a complete anomaly, and if you look at all the other games they’ve played the defense is kicking some serious ass, which they should be doing.

Obviously the Colts aren’t perfect, but why do we have to play one of the top tier teams to be recognized as “good?” The Colts with no running game and a still healing Peyton Manning went into Pittsburgh and beat the Steelers last season. The same team that the media slobbered all over, especially the defense because they were so great but yet Peyton went out and made them look mediocre. My point is, the Colts went and played the best team in the league last season, in their house, with a inferior team and won. But yet this season, they are overrated. HMMMMMM. Something doesn’t jive here folks.

Keep doubting us, MSM

and letting us fly under the radar. I’m really really good with that. I know the pros are vastly different from college ball, but I’ll draw an analogy nevertheless: look at what happens to my Cal team when they are suddenly thrust into the Top 10… fade into oblivion… every… single… year. UGH!

How can you not love a team that does this?

Kevin Hench and Dave Dameshek

proving its not what you know, its who you…

Neither of them have any training in sports. Both of them are friends with Simmons, Carolla, and Kimmel, so, obviously, both have jobs with Fox or ESPN! (Dave Dameshek has been demoted 2 or 3 times by ESPN because they realized after hiring him he was shitty at doing anything but talk steelers or penguins)

Does anyone know if there is truth

to the rumor that Hench likes farm animals and underage yeti?

This is a truly special team.

I’ve been seeing it since the Miami game. I have a feeling we’re going to see great things this year, including the playoffs. It’s just a gut feeling mind you, but it’s a pretty strong one. I think a lot of other Colts fans can see it too.

I see it as well Cass.

I’ve watched a lot of games this season, and what I see from the Colts is that this year, is going to be big. We may lose a couple or three games, but this is one special team. It’s just a gut feeling like you said. If you study the Colts games like we fans do, you can see it. It’s not only on the field that I see a difference, it’s on the sidelines as well.

Yanno....

There was this game back in 2003….the Colts were…..down 21pts with 5 min to go….against the record setting best defense in the history of football…

But the Colts just aren’t that good….

Just sayin…
