LovinBlue's (Mostly) All Dreads Team - Offense

As promised, I have compiled my "all dreads" team, including an offense and a defense of players who sport dreads, braids, or pull-ready hair.  I really tried to stick with mostly dreads or mostly braids, but there were some positions where I simply had to relax my requirements.  Similarly, there were some players whose reputation for great hair just deserved to be on the list.

One thing to notice about my team... the defense is stacked, and the offense may struggle a bit.  But they are really crippled on special teams... I couldn't find a single kicker or punter who had FanPost-worthy hair!  This makes the battle for field position nearly impossible.

The other thing I noticed... it took me a lot longer to compile this list than it did to compile my "best looking" posts.  In part this is because I had help with my other posts, and in part it was really hard to find people at certain positions and I was diligent about scouring NFL.com's picture database.

Be sure to check out the All Dreads Team - Defense & ST.

Enjoy!

QB: Aaron Rodgers, Packers

Given the desire to have really long, dreadlocked or braided hair, Aaron Rodgers is certainly a stretch.  But (a) I needed to find a starting QB for my team, and (b) he's a Cal product!

Backup QB: Josh Freeman, Bucaneers

His hair is almost there!

C: Samson Satele, Raiders

The options at Center were few, so I went with Satele, whose hair is unruly, but undeniably long!

OG: Davin Joseph, Bucaneers

Looks like he's got great vision.

OG: Jacob Bell, Rams

He may need a bit of work on his blocking technique, but the hair is spot on!

If I grow my hair out like you, can I play football, too?

Good thing he didn't cut his hair prior to the game against Chicago...

oh my gosh

I can’t believe I forgot to give the love to my Marshawn!!!!

As my apology, I offer this scene, one of my favorite from his years at Cal.

And here’s a highlight reel that illustrates Marshawns pure strength and escabability.

GO BEARS!

How can you not love a team that does this?
