Happy Veteran's Day
My grandfather fought at Iwo Jima in 1945. My uncle was in Vietnam in the late-1960s. My cousin was a Marine just after the first Gulf War. My father, while not a war veteran, served in the Peace Corps early in its inception. So, though he did not fight in a war (he was a pacificst), he did serve his country in a positive way.
Here's to all veterans and people who serve. One of the more inspirational veterans you will meet is Josh Bleil (pictured above), who lost both his legs in Iraq. Despite his injuries while serving, Josh still walks with the help of two prosthetic legs and a cane. Josh, who works for his hometown Indianapolis Colts as a community spokesperson, is a living example of what Veterans Day is all about.
Fine job by NFL Network to do a story on him.

Happy Veterans Day to my late Father,
He was a WWII Veteran, fought with the Navy in the South Pacific. I’m proud of that fact.
We all need to remember what these men and women do and have done, so we can enjoy our freedom. Freedom to live in a great country. Freedom to enjoy our nation pastime. Here’s to the Vets!
"You can't defend the perfect throw, what can I say?" Peyton quoting Marino
"As I grow older, the list of people who can kiss my ass grows longer"-Ancient Hoosier Proverb.
To all of those have served and are serving now...
I thank you!
"I throw, you catch. It's NOT that hard!"

How can you not love a team that does this?
Your link to NFL Network is broken.
Can you please fix it as I want to see the story.
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.
Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: This is my dad's favorite scene from one of my all-time favorite shows. Full of win, IMO.
To all my brothers and sisters in arms....
Thank you for taking up the fight that I left some 4 years ago. Keep on fighting and protecting what freedoms we Americans still have. One thing is for certain, without all of you and your predecessors, this country would be in much darker times than it is. Oh, and Happy Birthday Marines! And to celebrate, I’ll release a little seen service pic of me:

From Personal
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
To all that have and are.......
Serving in the military of this great country Thank You and God Bless.
