Saturday College Football and Basketball- Open Thread
I noticed no one had put one up yet and there are already some games going on.
So for your pleasure I present you with this wonderful thread. Pretty nice, huh? Plenty of blank space for football talk, lolcats, memes, BS, or whatever you want. Feel free to periodically bash the Patriots as well. We need to start getting warmed up for tomorrow.
[UPDATE]: I edited this post a bit just to make it a little more front page friendly. Continue to chat away about the games. Sadly, IU's football team was not able to knock off Penn State. The Hoosiers have been primed for upsets all season long (like the Michigan game earlier in the year), but haven't been able to get the wins. --bbs

RULES ARE RULES!!
A jinx can be initiated when at least two people make any of the same sounds, comments, etc. unintentionally say (or type, in the case of Internet jinx) the same word or phrase at the same time. If one of them (the “jinxer”) yells “Jinx!” before any further conversation has begun, the other person (the “jinxee”) is in a state of being “jinxed”
…
In some instances, the “jinxee” can only be freed from jinx upon purchasing the “jinxer” a coke (this rule is honored when the “jinxer” enforces this stipulation).

I have to hand it to you. There had to have been 200 Iowa fans in my town last night and this morning. It was nuts. Taking videos, singing songs, being drunk….They were having a great time. And apparently heavily patronized the local gentlemen’s establishments.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
Iowa fans really travel
and REALLY have a good time.

This is true.
"But whenever I meet dynamic, nonretarded Americans, I notice that they all seem to share a single unifying characteristic: the inability to experience the kind of mind-blowing, transcendent romantic relationship they perceive to be a normal part of living. And someone needs to take the fall for this. So instead of blaming no one for this (which is kind of cowardly) or blaming everyone (which is kind of meaningless), I'm going to blame John Cusack."
