"Tom Brady Closes"-Rodney Harrison pregame

please, please, please tell me that someone else saw the pregame show. When asked "what is the difference between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady?"

Tony Dungy said, "Peyton is all around better"

Rodney Harrison said, and I quote- "Tom Brady is a better closer"

CLOSER!!! ha ha ha ha ha......well in his face, in Belicheat's face, and all their poor sportsmanship, the GOOD GUYS WON

I love the fact that they (New England) knows they don't have any kind of mental advantage over us now,we can come back from anything they put on us....and we proved it....yet again.... great job of "closing" Tom, why don't ya go pose for GQ.....again.... hahaha

The loss was on bellicheck not on Brady

Brady played great and pretty much out played peyton for the most part. Bellicheck screwed up in playcalling the defense collapsed in the final minutes. unless Brady was playing db the game was on the coaching/def. Still i gotta give credit to manning for pulling out TD in the last seconds.

you are right, but if you watched the pregame, it was pretty clear…Rodney Harrison is an idiot, “we’ve always had these guys number”……“Brady just closes”….they refuse, REFUSE to give Peyton and the Colts credit

Well done

I do recall that. But I (hang my head in shame to admit that I) thought Roidney Harrison was surprisingly well-spoken on the topic. Didn’t he say 18 was a better passer, but that he’d want 12 with the game on the line and 2 minutes left? It’s not exactly a surprise or controversial statement for him to make. He may have been understandably mistaken (as a former teammate) but his implication that he’d rather have 18 as his QB for 58 minutes is a pretty big concession for a Pats player/fan. Usually you don’t even get that much admission from them. Baby steps. I’ll take it.

As much as Brady “did not lose” the game, one simple conversion would have sealed the deal, and he came up short on that, almost throwing a pick-six to a rookie DB on 3rd down, and then coming up just short on 4th.

I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

Give Brady some credit.

I hate the guy, but he definitely outplayed Peyton last night. It’s not all on P’s shoulder’s; Garcon and Collie dropped a lot of key passes, but Brady looked a lot more comfortable for most of the game (Peyton’s two picks were just bad passes or miscues, Brady’s single pick was a result of Bethea making a great play).

I can’t see putting the failed attempt on Brady’s shoulders. The D stepped up, and Faulk didn’t get his yard. Brady put the ball where it needed to go.

Brady may have outplayed Peyton for 3 Quarters,

But when It mattered most PEYTON WAS CLUTCH!

It was partly Brady's fault

if u look at the replay of that key fourth down you notice that there’s either Wes Welker or Edelman about 4 yards from the first down line with alot of cushion running down the middle…if brady saw that instead of Faulk we might as well talk about how the colts almost won..but hey the colts desguised it and forced brady for the quick decision so all credit goes to the D!!!

They look at me and say Why? I stare back and say Why Not?

Brady didn't have...

time to look anywhere else. The play was designed to get the ball to Faulk quick. Brackett came on the blitz and almost got to Brady on a three step drop. When do we start talking about Brackett’s blitz ability. He is doing a great job in a part of the game that he has never been know for.

That whole exchange between Tony and Rodney was hysterical!

Dungy was NOT going to back down, I think he could have argued the point for hours! Way to go Tony! Its nice to see that you’re a homer…and of course, he’s right.
