Why was Jennings covering Randy Moss so much?
That is what I want to know. Powers was doing a good job most of the game. Jennings was always getting burned, like he normally does.
Only thing I can think of is they wanted to protect Powers? Knowing Moss will blow up no matter what you do, so they put Jennings on him knowing Brady would go to him, maybe that makes Brady look at Moss less when Powers is on him? This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, just the only thing I can think of.

Bethea
Im not trying to bust on him but he was picked on early and Moss exposed his lack of height(that bast***!) … basically moss was suppose to be covered by jennings and bethea i believe and in the beginning moss burned them a few times. maybe a powers-bethea coverage is better suited to cover moss?
They look at me and say Why? I stare back and say Why Not?
All 3 corners had
their turns covering Moss. I was actually watching this matchup more than I usually do in games. Moss routinely burned Lacey in the first half. I only remember Jennings covering Moss on one or two plays, and you saw what happened. Powers did an excellent job keeping Moss in front of him and jumping in front of the ball when it was thrown. I was impressed with Powers. Lacey was OK, but should never be put near an elite wide receiver. Jennings? Get him off the field. I miss Hayden.
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.
Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: I turn 19 on Tuesday, November 17. I accept all gifts. If any of you can figure out a way for me not to have a test Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday on the week of my birthday, that would be the best present ever.
