Game Thread Chat: I'm calling you out!
That's right I'm calling all of you out! You unfaithful dogs you! Oh and other quotes that I found funny. I separated the quotes into two categories and they go in chronological order. It's too much for me to try to sync them up with what was going on in the game but I'm pretty sure you can guess. I don't mean to put any of you "on blast" or anything. I just find it amusing. I know you all are die hard Colts Fans. My comments are in bold.

Nailed that one Cass...........
It is pretty funny during the course of a season watching bandwaggoners jump on, jump off, jump on, jump off. Easy to say in hindsight, but the fact is I learned after that Tampa Bay game never to believe the game is out of reach.

SB could be right.........
But I am just supersticious enough to never admit defeat until the final whistle…….Don’t want to jinx anything. As close to defeat as we were, my most negative statement was: “It doesn’t look good right now.” Which was said more than a few times, this game.
In my defense about wanting to go to bed early
I had a French test the next day and another assignment I hadn’t finish, so I was really tired. I’m not a bandwagoner or a fair weather fan. I’m the daughter of a ride or die Raiders fan who has been through hell the last seven years, no way could I disappoint my dad and turn my back on the team that I root for.

To all of you naysayers...
I say shame on you! I never once said we were going to lose! I remember saying “we’re really fucking up” and “we’re getting our asses kicked” a couple of times, because at the time it was true. But never once did I say “we’ve lost this game”.
I just kept saying “This is how we do it”. And we did it.
Man, I just cannot get enough of Colts Homer quote:
" YES!!!!!
FUCKER DIDNT GET IT! FUCKER DIDNT GET IT!
by Colts Homer"
I was saying the same thing, Fucker didn’t get it…ah classic
wtf is this shit?
btw the 73-7 quote was clearly sarcasm. Blast me all you want for the other things i said, but that seemed pretty freakin clear.
And I still stand by a lot of what I said, losing doesn’t cover up every flaw, but ya know what? After going against my better judgement and listening to various sports radio shows and pod casts today, I kind of hope we go 19-0 without being able to run the ball, with the drops, and with an inconsistent defense.
NEver before in the history of man fucking kind have i seen a 6 point game where the losing side has put up 4 touchdowns with 2:30 to go be a ‘domination’. There was nothing dominating about it. The Colts killed themselves with drops. If you add ONE catch to Collie, Garcon and Addai each (i know, i’m not playing the what if game, just bear with me) then this game is like a score for score game. My point is, while that DIDNT happen, is that domination i something YOU DO. The Patriots weren’t dominating, they were the better team for 58 minutes because they were out excecuting. I draw a big fucking distinction between the two, and while i hate “Patriots Week”, i now want to see the mother fuckers in the dome in january. Fuck them, fuck the media, fuck bill belichick, fuck roidney, fuck da police.
Never doubt Peyton Manning, he’ll make you look silly
Im a douchebag, an asshole, and I'm rarely right.
i guess we're not the only ones not on the DOMINATION bandwagon
since in DVOA the Colts have moved into 2nd and closed the gap on the Patriots, which means they got a better grade than the pats for that game.

lol, I don't know what to say to all that.
I know the 73-7 thing was sarcasm, in fact I remember somewhere you saying the score would be 73-2. I only put that in there to show where the signature competition between you and shake started.
Throughout the game, sure you played the devil’s advocate and just wanted a sarcastic comment here and there, but you were real in most of your comments and told it as it was.
I really hope that people aren’t taking this post the wrong way. In no way do I want people to think any less of them for what they “said” during the game. I just found it all quite amusing. Just trying to chronicle the emotions everyone was going through.

Pretty funny
but some of this venting is taken out of context. It’s only natural for passionate Colt fans to have fun during an in-game blog. When we think we see bad or stupid things being done (right or wrong), we say it….during the heat of the moment. At one point when we were 10 behind or so, I said that this is one of the worst performances I’ve seen by our guys,……then I wrote in my next comment ….‘However, I believe we can still win’. That was conveniently left out in the above quotes.
So, I'm not a bandwagon fan. And, I still believe the defense overall,
other than some great moments, was awful…..reminded me of the Miami game. Special teams is still atrocious, and yes, other than Addai’s wonderful run to the one yard line, our run offense is suspect. Now, with that said, let me be very clear about this: Peyton Manning is incredible. He had a somewhat off night, his receivers weren’t catching consistently, and he still sealed the deal. I never lost faith in that possibility. Imagine if Indy gets a consistent run offense (like we had with Edge), or a special teamer who can return it past the 20 to give Peyton some respectable field position? That game could have gone either way. I’m glad we won and believed we could at every point in the game, even though I was venting at some of the bad, inconsistent play. Go Colts!
Coming Into the game 7-0
No one thought we would be dominated for 3 and a half quarters. With so many high expectations, fans overreacted to the fact that we were getting whooped, myself included. But no expects a 17 point comeback everytime we get down either especially against the Patriots. Glad i stayed up and suffered for 3 and a half quarters, becasue the last 1/2 quarter was classic!

they don't get really bad until a loss is final
I did give one person the boot during the game though.
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.

How do you add all these faces?
Are you like an HTML expert or something?

Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: I turn 19 on Tuesday, November 17. I accept all gifts. If any of you can figure out a way for me not to have a test Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday on the week of my birthday, that would be the best present ever.
I just add it as an image. That's all.
After seeing some seriously creative smileys on other forums, I’ve started stockpiling them. One of my favs I haven’t had a chance to use here yet:
Guess no one’s been cuckoo enough for me to bust that out yet. =)
Anyway, I just put those smileys on Photobucket and click the “Image” button to insert them. That’s all. Granted, yes, I do know the HTML to insert them, but it’s easier to use the button. Regardless, it’s not hard to code it; it’s just a standard “img src=” tag. For example, for the above smiley, the URL is:
http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n94/elmondohummus/cuckoo-1.gif/
… so the HTML would be:
<img src=“http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n94/elmondohummus/cuckoo-1.gif/”>
… and when you type that all out:

It’s pretty straightforward. But I like using forum tools that do all that work for you. It’s just a click and a copy of the URL into the dialogue box.

I still don't get...
How people can post while watching the game? I was in NE surrounded by pats fans and screaming at the TV. I’d have smashed my laptop out of frustration if i tried to post.
I put my laptop away for this game so I could pay close attention.
I tend to post for other games.
How can you not love a team that does this?
I never post during Colts games
for the same reasons (except maybe the property damage). I do post during other games though. That’s not so hard.

Yeah, I always am enjoying the Colts games with my wife and children, particularly my 11 year old son.
My notebook is off and waiting for postgame review. I can’t imagine having it on during the game.
