Ryan Diem and the O Line
I have not been as hard on Ryan Diem as some others, but I finally have an opinion on him now. I came to this opinion after watching him get blown up a few times last night. I remember one play in particular where he was knocked back about 5 yard behind the rest of the OLine and he knew it. He looked lost and a little surprised. There was one other play that stuck out - the OLB blew past and Diem barely got a hand on him. Collinsworth made a big point out of it as well.
I usually do not say much about the individual OLine guys (mainly because I can't help but watch the ball), but he seemed to have the worst night last night.
But I don't want to be overly negative. 18 was able to stand most of the game and that is always a plus. We had some great runs as well (WOW CHAD SIMPSON).
Who do you think had the best night on the line last night?

I voted for the kid
Because I did not notice him at all last night. There were enough times I saw Chuck, Jeff, and Ryan not looking great. Hardly scientific.
Next year’s draft and UDFA signings: 15 OL. Keep Peyton upright for his final five seasons. It’s how you draft when you have a young QB of the future to protect, and how you draft when you have a legend you are trying to extend.
I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

yea, in a change of roles
the guards seemed to do well last night, while the tackles shit the bed. There was one play where I think Garcon made Diem look bad, and oh boy, if Garcon was one step quicker, Addai (or whomever the rb was) gets a long ass TD. It was a toss to the top of the screen, the Colts were moving right to left, Garcon was split to the top, but put in motion. He was supposed to crackback on the LB and diem was going to pull wide and seal the CB and the RB would have had nothing but green in front of him.. actually, now that i picture the play in my head, i think it was brown, he did the brown shimmy (where he wiggles his hips, but doesnt juke anyone). Anyhow, the guy that Garcon was supposed to block was too quick and pushed Diem back into Brown, so diem was off balanced, Brown was without any blockers in front, was left moving laterally vs the CB, but was still able to gain 2 yards. Would have been a huge play.
Never doubt Peyton Manning, he’ll make you look silly
Im a douchebag, an asshole, and I'm rarely right.
