Finally someone has enough sense to cut to the chase, and give Peyton credit for an amazing 4th quarter.

Good stuff on Peyton

But then he goes on to say that Cincy and NE and Pitt are in contention as well. Well, what the heck, they’ve won close games, too. There were also a bad opponent’s play away from losing more games. And they’ve lost two to three games where he haven’t. We’re the best team in the AFC without a doubt. We’re not dominant, but we’re the best.

Wow

I was unaware that Peyton Manning and the Colts played on Sunday with where the media is focusing attention. I have yet to see an intelligent comment on any ESPN show about this “game.” I’ve never seen such a great game and great performance by a player/team go completely ignored.

Know this: if the roles were reversed, the story would be all about the invincible Tom Brady and the infallible patriots. I mean, think about it. We just came back from a 17 point deficit in the FOURTH QUARTER against a great team, and people are actually questioning if the 9-0 colts are the best team in the AFC. If the roles were reversed, again, people would be talking about the Pats running the table ALL THE TIME. Yet, all we hear, is, “Yeah, they’re 9-0 and undefeated but they shouldn’t be.” Gimme a break. Never has a 9-0 team, the best quarterback in the game, and a historic 9-0 start by a rookie coach been so overlooked and disrespected. We win close games because we are gritty and force the other team to lose. I’m so sick of people saying we almost lose rather than we always win. Ethics and integrity is now completely absent in NFL media.

Except for Drew Bennett

on First Take. He was the only guy I heard that seemed dumbfounded we were getting so disrespected. Even Ron Jaworski repressed his Northeast bias to nearly scoff at Mike Wilbon’s question as to who was the better team b/w us and NE after we won. Jaworski was like, “Are you kidding me? It’s the Colts. They won. They’re better. There’s no question right now.” Unbelievable disrespect from the so-called worldwide leader.

I would bash Skip Bayless and Scoop Jackson, too, but A) neither of them are qualified to ever comment on football since neither has a clue what they are talking about ever (Skip actually said Wayne got away with a PI at the end—WRONG, read the rules and watch the play again, moron), and B) it was nothing to how they disrespected the Bengals. They were asked who was the better team b/w Cincy and Pittsburgh. A stupid question to even debate, they both proved just as stupid when they said Pittsburgh, who is now 0-2 against Cincy, who won at Pitt w/o Benson. Okay, I guess I went on to bash them. Worth it.

If anything Wayne was the one being interfered with. What a fucking aarogant asshole. Go back to oggling over Tom Nrady poses for GQ Skip.
