How on earth did Dan Federkiel end up with a concussion? o.O He run into the door frame on his way to the bathroom or something?

he was active for the game, he might be on a ST unit
and I think I remember his 2007 being ended by concussion so he might have issues with them.

That guy had a lot of concussions...
Why in the world were there so many concussions this past weekend?
Oh no!

Why in the world were there so many concussions this past weekend?
I think most of them came when Manning threw those interceptions and fans banged their heads against the desk/wall/floor. And a few more from when Moss got that long completion and Welker that long return.
(* blinks *)
… Oh, wait… you meant among the players… heh (* rueful grin *) whoops. My mistake.

I wrote this in the other injury post
The Patriots sure did beat us up.
Also, I saw that Raheem Brock tweeted that he was grateful for multi-vitamins because he was “tired as shit.”
I hope these guys can recover quickly this week.

How come Melvin Bullit is not injured?
Thanks God! I saw him lying on the turf at least twice..including when he tackeld Faulk. Let’s hope Bethea is ok too, and everybody else. Is Kelvin Hayden expected to return next week? Or the following? Or someday?
GO COLTS!

Justin Snow???
That’s a rarity. He was pretty reliable for past 10 years. Let’s hope he’s ok because losing a good long snapper CAN hurt.
Oh no!

Jacob Tamme was a long snapper in college
I’m sure they have him working overtime on his snaps just in case.

I;m shocked no one has posted yet
about Mannning winning AFC Off. Player of the week. Its his record 20th time he has won this award since it was introduced, in 1984 I think

Garcon
Do you think his injury is from the play where he was helped up in the back of the Endzone? Definatly need him, Foster, and Bethea in action against the Ravens!

I think you're right
They just showed that play on the NFLN replay, and he landed awkwardly on his right foot. Probably stunned his foot a bit.

AG?
Has anyone heard anything new about Gonzalez coming back or is this going to be like Marvin in 2007, where we kept waiting until he was rusty in the playoffs?

I thought the word on both Gonzo and Hayden was back in december
I know that they said Gonzo would be back in a couple weeks after he got the scope.

Good news
is that neither Addai nor Brown appear on the report. I was concerned hearing about how Addai’s fingers were in a “Z” pattern (can’t remember where I read that). And Brown’s shoulder was said to bother him a bit still (though the primary irritation seemed to be having to shake off some rust getting back into the game).

You probably read it from me.
I wrote it in my scattershot comment after the game. I heard Polian say it when Lamey was doing his normal post-game interview with him on the radio.
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.
Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: I turn 19 on Tuesday, November 17. I accept all gifts. If any of you can figure out a way for me not to have a test Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday on the week of my birthday, that would be the best present ever.

Sounds like everybody got a little banged up
tends to happen around this time of year especially after games like that. I wouldn’t jump to conclusions saying any (aside from the obvious Hayden/Gonzo duo) will keep them out next week. Probably just resting them for long term purposes. Better safe than sorry, and this time of year, every splinter a guy gets is going to get treated seriously and thoroughly. I doubt the training staff is taking any chances at all.
