Ben Utecht cut

Ben Utecht has been cut by Cinnci. It's not secret the Colts have holes to fill and he is only 28 and was productive behind Dallas just a few years ago. Of all the Ex-Colts recently cut, he seems to still fit their system best. As far as I know, the Colts liked having a big target across the middle, he just wasn't worth 10 million to them. I need to get to 75 words.

I liked Utecht

He was a very good blocker (better than Gijon imo, although he does have a mean streak) and was a fairly good outlet.

His fumbles pissed me off tough.

doubtful anyway

He was cut off of IR, where he landed for concussions. The guy is likely to have to hang ’em up.

How can you not love a team that does this?

i would be afraid of him getting the ball

always had to hold my breath when he got the ball, just waiting for him to fumble the ball. no way do we need/ want ben

I was wondering about this… if you’re IRed on one team can you play if you sign with another?

I wouldn’t suggest getting him unless Gijon was clearly deficient at blocking though… and he doesn’t seem to be, given that he’s still the 2nd man on the list even though he isn’t useful at all in the passing game.

I suppose because he was released

seems like fair game, but I assume he’s done

yeah, totally fair game

to sign anywhere… I just don’t know if IR means you’re out no matter where you go, or just out on that team.

Same thing applies to when they waived/IRed Roy Hall. If someone claimed him… would he still have been out all year?
