a couple questions
we all know by now that owen daniels is out for the season and that sucks for the texans definately will effect how well they play us. i do have a question tho b4 the injury who would the better TE be owen daniels or dallas clark
owen daniels stats age 26 dallas clark age 30
yards=519 projected=1038 yards= 584 projected=1335
tds=5 projected=10 tds=3 projected=7
rec=40 projected=80 rec= 46 projected=105
avg= 13 avg=12.6
now you can't argue who has the better qb we definately do but how about no.1 receiver
andre johnson or reggie wayne i'll take wayne maybe i'm biased but he makes some amazing catches that maybe he shouldn't
andre johnson stats age 28 reggie wayne stats age 30
yards=697 projected=1394 yards= 689 projected=1575
tds=4 projected=8 tds=4 projected=14
rec=44 projected=88 rec=51 projected=117
avg= 15.8 avg=13.5

THANKS
for making feel nervous about wayne and clarks age. I never knew they were 30 yrs old!
They look at me and say Why? I stare back and say Why Not?

what's up w/ the TD projections?
It lists both Wayne and Johnson at 4 but projects Johnson’s to 8 and Wayne’s to 14….
Because I am fundamentally lazy, I will assume Wayne has six or seven and not four.
Also, the Daniels and Clark comps are not quite fair, as DC had a big game yesterday but OD only played a quarter (or less?). Much as I love Clark and feel his flexibility and versatility are immeasurable keys to our success, the two are very comparable on paper. Nothing wrong with that.
I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

wayne has atleast 1 TD
in 5 straight games, so im guessing he doesnt have 4 TDs.

The Texans haven't had a bye yet
so Daniels has actually played more time this year.
It’s also probably part of the difference in the Wayne vs AJ projection. 9 remaining games vs 8
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.

There's more to playing TE than receiving
Which seems to be unfortunately glossed over these days.
As I said last time this topic came up, it’s impossible to judge a receiver based on pure stats – you need so much more to get a picture of how they’re playing, and even that isn’t anywhere near as good as watching them constantly.
I will say that they’re both great receivers, and you’d be happy with either. My perspective is that Wayne tends to be more of a finesse, route running WR – reliant on a QB to get him the ball in the right place – whereas Johnson doesn’t have Wayne’s precision or hands, but is a better playmaker and more physical receiver.
Comparing the two just seems like a dick measuring contest. They’re both great players.
