New Pats Prospect

It looks like the Patriots have a new prospect when Vince Wilfork retires

Because everybody knows Wilfork is one of the dirtiest players in football, and I can't remember who it was, but I specifically remember Mr. Wilfork attempting to poke a player on the other team in the eyes.  Anybody else remember when that was (or maybe there are multiple times? It's certainly possible).

And the seventy five word limit sucks. Yes, it does.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

I HATE THE NCAA!!!!!

I’m about to rant so just prepare yourself. I hate how these big program athletes get preferential treatment like Spikes. Spikes tries to purpously injure a guy and he gets a half a game suspension, Dez Bryant on the other hand lies about going to Deon Sanders’ house (not about knowing him which he disclosed but just going to his house) and he gets suspended for the entire 2009 season. We’ve yet to hear anything about Reggie Bush or O.J. Mayo taking money either because both went to USC and that might impede the cash flow to the school if it gets penalized. The NCAA is so crooked it’s just stupid. The NFL might have very strict rules but at least they’re consistant.

Yep

Just like they’re really, really serious about investigating Tom Cable breaking someone’s jaw.

Oh wait.

They're still investigating

Unfortunately with the police department saying that there will be no charges pressed there’s not a lot Goodell can do about it. I really dislike the whole Tom Cable thing because I think anyone who hits a spouse or significant other is a sad individual to behold. It seemed like the police department didn’t even try to find evidence about the whole thing.

Cable

and the Raiders are a joke to the whole country, I agree how does a guy not get some kind of punishment, If players can get fined and punnished why not the Coach. A real owner and GM would have susspended the coach for a game just to make the point.

You can't fix Dumb

sigh

The trash-talk got out of hand, he was pointing and never touched him.

Keep the faith!

The replay showed Wilfork purposefully poking Jacobs…

Oh no!

by Bluedude on Nov 4, 2009 4:18 PM EST up reply actions

yes, he was pointing at him and his finger went past the bars

the commish ruled Jacobs was never touched (and believe me he wasn’t looking to let Wilfork off the hook if he could nail him.)

Keep the faith!
