hows that 10-0 feeling?
Another win, close? sure, but a win and giving the fact that it was in Baltimore with a full house and with a team that needed this W and wanted this W more, "is a heck of a win" as Jim would say.
This was the week that the Colts were supposed to loose, the so call "letdown" after the big win against the pats.
The Colts have won the games they should have won and the ones they should have lost.
The Colts had won games by the offense adn have won games by the defense. Now is not only that teams are playing against Peyton and the offense ,now the defense can beat you too.
Lets make a poll.

For some reason
10-0 doesn’t feel as good as it should. 11-0 would be great since Houston is definitely the biggest threat left on the schedule.
"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."
I know why!
We’ve all been through this before. It is the same reason the media isn’t giving the Colts credit. The media is just waiting to see what we do in the playoffs. If we fail, it’ll just be “Yeah, I told you so.” The Saints, however, are in unusual territory. It is exciting for them and their fans.
Frankly, after the 2005 season when we were 13-0, I won’t get excited about the idea of going undefeated until we reach the Super Bowl. The Patriots also proved that going 16-0 doesn’t mean anything. I’d much rather be the team that everyone is praising after the season than the one they praise during the season.
We’ve been winning games when the Colts aren’t even playing well. I can’t wait to see what we do when we play a complete game.

21 straight is what I'm really looking for
"If you don't [draft me], I promise you I'll come back and kick your ass for the next 15 years."
There is a big caveat there.
here are the Pats streaks (regular season)
21 straight (2006-2008): However they lost two postseason games inbetween.
18 straight (2003-2004): They won the Super Bowl inbetween so they actually won 21 straight.
IMO, the real record would still be the 21 straight games, post or reg, by the dynastic Pats, but I would still love the 22 straight regular season games.
EVH+DLR=BFFr........ God I Hope So!!
There's only one particular streak that I care about
and it begins after the 3rd of January
How can you not love a team that does this?
But you can take some time
to enjoy yourself now, right? How rare is it for a team, even the Colts, to start 10-0? Enjoy it a little. Worry about the playoffs in January.

Definitely am enjoying this
but really only care about the playoffs and SB
How can you not love a team that does this?
The win didnt feel that good today
but I think that is because of all the miscues. Im very happy we are 10-0, but I think we will all really feel happy when we start locking things up. A win these next two weeks will make us AFC South Champs and vive us an automatic playoff spot. I think thats when everybody is going to get all riled up!
I don't care even a little bit about streaks or undefeateds
The only thing that matters is ending the year on a 3 game winning streak. Or four, should they choose to tank the next 6. Which would still be perfectly fine with me.
In fact, this whole streak thing annoys me, just because it’ll make anything less than a Super Bowl that much more disappointing (and will give the idiots more ammunition for their various choker theories).
just to be fair
i think Peyton and Brett should be co-mvps, i mean this would be the first time two previous co-mvps would welllll be co-mvps once again, i love peyton and i love brett theyr helluva players and they dont get the respect they rightfully own.

I voted for the middle choice
But Favre gets the MVP.
At least as of today, it’s his to lose and finally I don’t begrudge him. He’s playing well, his team is winning (generally he has helped them, not hindered), and his stats are insane.
Will 18 or Brees go on a tear like last year and dominate the final 6 games? Phil Rivers or Brady? Maybe. Will Favre stink up the town in a couple games and maybe even lose one with a pick-six? Maybe. But as of now, it looks like #4 for #4. Ick.
Speaking of Brady, how nice was that with 30 seconds left in the game and ahead by 17 points, Tom Brady loaded up and fired a bomb to Randy Moss? It was incomplete but good to know what a douchebag is in case my kids ever ask for an example.
I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.
sounded like they were just trying to pound it down Revis' throat
but Revis did pretty well on Moss all day – held him to 24 yards, plus a short (3-yard?) TD that was just a fast timing route… probably hard for any defender to really break up
How can you not love a team that does this?
I wish we can borrow Revis.
He did amazing against Moss. Too bad they couldn’t do the same to Welker.

Favre as MVP is a joke
The Vikings were a loaded team without Favre, and all it needed was a good steady hand at QB.
You could have put Matt Cassell, Jay Cutler, Aaron Rodgers, or even Matt Schaub at the helm of that team and it would still most likely be either 9-1 or 8-2..
Honestly, people are making a huge deal out of Favre’s season….but his defense is one of the best in the league, his running attack is the best in the NFC, and his WR’s are slightly above average.
And the worst part is the Vikings and Saints both, are the lucky beneficiary of that delayed suspensions due to the Starcaps fiasco…
I hate Favre...
but no way Jay Cutler does anything but hurt that team. Cutler is like Bad Favre except he comes out 80% of the time instead of 25% (or so far this year, 0%).
I think Rodgers could very well have them unbeaten though. He can make astounding plays and his one weakness would never show itself behind that awesome line.
I’ll still say that they’d be successful with Rosenfels if they hadn’t gotten Favre… but I’m willing to admit that it would still be different even if Sage was doing a good job. Favre’s success this year changes how teams defend them. A safe passing game like Sage could’ve given them would just lead to 8 in the box and daring him to beat them. His arm isn’t awful, but he wouldn’t be doing what Favre has done.
I feel dirty just writing that.
He needs to have a bad game though, because I do believe other players are more valuable, despite his level of play, and he’s going to get more votes than he deserves.
Vikes upcoming schedule is
pretty stout….
Chicago twice
Cardinals
Giants
Panthers
Bengals
They could easily slip and lose a few there….especially with the state of the NFC..and still be in second place….but if the Cardinals win….they could be your bye team possibly..

^^THIS
How in the world can one consider Favre an MVP with both Minn’s defense and Adrian Freakin’ Peterson?
NO WAY!

I dont want the Colts on cruise control
going into the last stretch of the season. I’d really like to see homefield advantage, and the team really kicking some ass at least into the final game. Streaks and other things outside of playoff/super bowl wins….I could care less.
Playing flat the last handful of games a few of those years past, and having it carry over into the playoffs a little makes me nervous. But alas, this is a Jim Caldwell coached team and he may be able to keep the guys from slipping into a funk.
GO COLTS!
As long as the Colts keep winning
You will see Peyton Manning wanting to keep the streak alive. Which means yes, if we are 15-0 that he will in fact play for 16-0…..and I would LOVE to see that happen…
by DevilsReject on Nov 23, 2009 9:07 AM EST up reply actions
Im down with something like that
But for me, it would be icing on the cake.
I really just want them to have a shot at home field and success in the playoffs. Any sort of records or streaks outside of that is just a bonus bragging rights kind of thing……
Time to step the game up
Whenever sports casters talk about the Colts, they never seem to give them credit. On CBS, not one of the 5 or 6 sports casters picked the Colts to be in the Super Bowl. To me, the Colts have won some really big games lately starting with the 49ers game. Their schedule has stepped up in difficulty by a lot. And I like seeing that they have pulled off wins in each of those instances, even though they are small margins. I like how the defense is playing hard. Actually, I think they are what have saved most of the games for us. The offense has sputtered and coughed the last several games. At first it was Addai and the running game that couldn’t get it done on 3rd and short. But Addai has picked up his game and is impressing me. And with Donald Brown back, the running game is looking about the best it has all season. Now Manning can’t seem to make completions and is throwing interceptions because he is somewhat forcing the ball into double coverage. If the Colts can step it up this next game against the Texans in Houston, I think the Colts have a really good shot of finishing off the season 16-0.

If Defense wins championships,
This team is well prepared.
As far a MVP goes, Peyton should get it, because he wins with a so-so Running game.
