The Colts are getting Lucky!
Title says it all..
Right?
Wrong! Is anyone else but me TIRED of hearing broadcasters, "experts" and fans alike all saying were lucky and shouldn't be 10-0? I mean seriously. It's getting to me now because it's BULLCRAP.
I live in Tennessee, so Titans fans here are huge, as are Colts fans. And Titans fans tell me that: Although the Colts are a fantastic club, they should be at 8-2 at the best. This is what ticks me off. I want people to realize this.
The Colts have a roster of 50+ guys. okay? Not just 1 guy. I'm SICK and TIRED of people saying that all we are is #18!
Everyone always says that unless we win by 20 and Manning throws for 5 TD's its "lucky" Do people not realize that were the Indianapolis Colts, not the Indianapolis Peyton Mannings. Out defense can win a game or two for us too. The Pats D did it 2 years ago. As did the Dolphin's in the 80's. But still people are used to the old saying that were an all offense team! They need to realize were great on defense too! And people need to stop saying that when our defense wins us a ball game that we "edged out" or "got Lucky" or "the other team(in this case Ed Reed) blew the game"
Give our D a little credit. They're underrated and they have won us many ballgames.
Thoughts?

If not for the defense
- may have lost the game for us last week. This defense is better than it has been in a couple years. Let the haters hate, cause come super bowl time The Colts will do their thing and in the end will prove everyone wrong

I freaking LOVE that our Defense
has stepped up! While there have been a few hiccups on the offensive side of the ball, I have no doubt that those kinks will get worked out.
Defense wins Championships, at least that’s the saying.
At the very least, I’m thrilled that I don’t have that “uh-oh” feeling anymore when the defense takes the field. In fact, I’m really excited to watch them play!
"I throw, you catch. It's NOT that hard!"

I'm going to flat out disagree with you
We ARE getting lucky. We’ve BEEN lucky this whole season.
That’s because we’re DAMNED LUCKY to have Peyton, Wayne, Bullitt, Addai, Garçon, Brock, Freeney, Collie, Powers, Johnson….
See what I did there? ;-)
How can you not love a team that does this?

they say we should be 8-2
those 2 being a pats and texans , i have an answer to that with a few questions:
1- could you be 100% convinced that if the Pats had punt instead of going for it in 4 and 2, the colts wouldnt have score with a kickoff return for TD or Peyton driving the 2 minute drill with the 2 minute warning and 1 timeout and using all 4 downs?
2- Was the texans missed field goal for the win? NO, and are you 100% convinced that they were going to win the coin toss? and then be able to score?
if their answer are NOs then why should we be 8-2, as i see it we had a chance to win hem both without their help is not the Colts fault that those teams choke under pressure.

No Such Thing As Luck
There are oppertunities whether they are fortunate or not they are still oppertunities. It is how you react to this oppertunities. No such thing as luck it is always actions and reactions and dammit I am sorry your team can not react to what we are doing right now hence 10-0
Back when I was picking beans in Guatemala, we used to make fresh coffee, right off the trees I mean. That was good. This is shit but, hey, I'm in a police station.

Luck favors the prepared
And nobody prepares like the Colts. Go ahead and give Manning the credit. His work ethic elevates everyone around him and drives them to step up to his level.
Everyone wishes they had that kind of “luck” and everyone feels jealous when they don’t get it. But ask your Titans friends this: Who would they rather see having that luck? The pompous Patriots? The recidivist Bengals? The insufferable-ass Steelers? Is there another team – and fanbase – in the NFL that is as gracious in victory as the Colts?
I think it’s telling that the worst thing another fanbase can say about Colts fans is that we’re “spoiled” and we complain too much when Peyton doesn’t throw for 300 yards every game.
Never approach a vast undertaking with a half-vast plan.
