im not really suprised

An ACL tear is difficult to come back from. Escpecially at the) position. With as well as the other 3 rbs are playing, we could use a roster spot for another DB. Although, I wouldn’t be suprised if Hart ends up on the practice squad.

Poor guy

I had such high hopes for him

How can you not love a team that does this?

by LovinBlue on Nov 24, 2009 2:28 PM EST reply actions

he's come back from the PS once

the team will probably keep him around. They just don’t want to kind 4 RBs on the roster when the top 3 are healthy.

I think this move means that Brown’s ok now from the shoulder.

Any guesses on who they might bring in?

If this had happened a week ago, I would have guessed Mike McKenzie, but he just re-signed with the Saints.

Any serviceable O-Line candidates out there? What about Jon Runyan?

And just as I post that

Schefter tweets that Runyan is going to San Diego for a tryout – UGH!

I'll still never forget the third down run he had

hit three time behind the line and still got the first down AMAZING RUN. the colts play this game all the time with players. I bet he get signed back later

by Thedreamthejohn on Nov 24, 2009 3:18 PM EST reply actions

That was a great run

He showed a lot of heart in that play (no pun intended, really). I thought he was going to be our maurice jones drew…and then he went down on the next play. I actually felt sick for him. Hopefully he can fully rehab his knee and get back on the team. Would love to see him back.

This makes me wonder about injuries from last week's game.

WHY do they need the extra spot?

/feeling a little nauseous…

ok you're not helping here, ptb

I wonder if this is just a reflection of Hart’s health, not anyone else’s, and that we could use the roster spot to shore up other areas

No doubt you're right...

as a side note

if there were another player injured, at least we can be reassured it wouldn’t be season-ending, otherwise he would be the one to be cut / placed on IR, not Hart

OL, DB

I’d guess a DB. Outside shot of bringing back Toudoze.

just saw

that the Stillers are trying out Marcus Howard today

hmm

think they’d be in the market for a QB, not another edge rusher.

Maybe they want him because their ST coverage is groundbreakingly awful.

yep

8 straight games allowing a return TD!

by GonzoBlue on Nov 24, 2009 3:56 PM EST up reply actions

With

Federkeil being IR’d this week, its not much surprise they’d waive Hart. The top 3 RBs have been performing well and the Colts have others who can return kicks if needed.

With the secondary depth questionable and the potential of a Ugoh sighting on the OL, the Colts are making the right move here…

I don’t think they’ll let Hart get away though, as I expect they’ll try to keep him on the PS as previously suggested.

by DevilsReject on Nov 24, 2009 4:06 PM EST reply actions

not their call

once they waive him, it’s not up to them. If someone claims him, they get him.

Now of course I’m sure they’re hoping nobody claims him…

I'm thinking

Keiwan Ratliff, since he was just waived by the Steelers.

I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation

I liked him...

I wouldn’t mind having him back!

Josh Thomas re-signed

ptb, maybe this does say something about our health

Freeney was not feeling great last game… wonder if they’re gonna limit him more this week?

Not a bad idea, really.

Keep him fresh. Passing downs only, perhaps. We will definitely need him for the playoffs, I don’t want to revisit the 2007 playoff game.

thing is

after last night’s game, I was excited to see what D-Free could do to Schaub… they seemed to be letting EVERYONE in! Maybe it’s not as bad as I’m now thinking

by LovinBlue on Nov 24, 2009 6:00 PM EST up reply actions

yea, i was excited to see

the starting DL of Brock -Muir – Johnson – Foster. I think both Mathis and Free are hurt. We need to get through the jax game for the week and a half of rest.

Never doubt Peyton Manning, he’ll make you look silly

Im a douchebag, an asshole, and I'm rarely right.
