Around SBN: How A Letter From Tom Coughlin Helped One Fan's Recovery

Should the Colts look at either of these guys again?

UPDATE: Josh Thomas was re-signed already today, but that's not to say Ratliff and Seward are less interesting for future games.

Ratliff played well for us last year.

We must have waived him 2 or 3 times before we finally kept him. I remember him in the Pitt game – I wouldn’t mind having him back.

Jag's game...

Foster was the Pitt game.

Umm...

I think Ratliff had an Int in the Pitt game.

Yeah, I think it was the Hail Mary at the end of the game.

BUT Ratliff also had the pick six in the final Jags game. Game winner.

no

Ratliff had a huge INT at the end of the first half when the Steelers were pinned deep. I think the Colts got a TD to Dallas as time was about to expire that kept them in that game.

Never doubt Peyton Manning, he’ll make you look silly

Seriously.

I ended up listening to the Pitt game on the radio. Before I found channelsurfing.net.

But

Foster did have an awesome game against Pitt last year

I would deffinatly

give Ratliff another shot. He played well for us. Plus he will add some much needed depth.
The Steelers also cut former Colt Rocky Boiman. But he really wasnt a huge play maker for us.

Re-sign Ratliff

the guy simply put, played great for us on defense last year….

And, he would be much more desirable in the nickel over Jennings….

The guy has proven he has the talent to play in the Colts secondary, and he’s the work hard type the Colts want…

agreed

I thought Ratliff was more than adequate. It would let Jennings go lower on the depth chart.

To be Honest

The Josh Thomas resigning I don’t like as it likely means one of Freeney, Mathis or Brock is hurt and will be limited in the game against Houston.

I think we should continue to wave and resign Josh Thomas every week

just to mess with him.

LOL

How can you not love a team that does this?

by LovinBlue on Nov 24, 2009 7:07 PM EST up reply actions

Adam Seward isn't much and he's banged up

Katliff is worth considering for both of our teams.

Add another to the pro Ratliff campaign. Dude was more than serviceable last year.

Bring back Ratliff

He was very good last year. I would support cutting Hall or Jennings for him.

Ratliff

I am suprised they cut him, they signed him really quick after we gave him to green light to look elsewhere. I think we should definatly bring him back…at least until Hayden comes back!

Add me to the list of people that would love to have Ratliff.

Heck yes, Ratliff

I thought he totally outplayed Tim Jennings last year. Given our current dearth of healthy bodies in the secondary, Ratliff would seem to be the perfect fit.

Ratliff is a vet with some talent…overall he is a little bit of a draft bust, but he can play in the NFL and proved it with us last year…Bring him back Bill!

plays lights out, and give all hes got in sundays game, idk but thats what i would do if i dont want to get cut one more time, its time to shine

Not sure he is interested

I play basketball in the mornings with Kewian, actually played with him this morning, and all summer. He didn’t come right out and say it but I’m not sure he is interested in coming back and playing. I could be wrong. He has his 39 games to get full retierment.
