At least the Colts get the ball after the half.

Even if Houston scores here, they’’ll have a chance to drive quick and get the ball back. And hopefully make this a one possession game.

I think we need to bench Peyton. He is throwing unnecessary interceptions and is missing guys who are wide open. I think it’s time we saw what we have in Painter considering we have so much invested in him.

by coltsfan723 on Nov 29, 2009 2:25 PM EST up reply actions

Yes.

Look, I’m willing to call a spade a spade and say that the first half was awful. It was, it really, truly was. But that’s a drop in the bucket in the bigger picture. This individual game isn’t even over yet, let alone the season. Big deal that they played a horrid half. As I’ve been saying over and over, this team is not dropping this game due to fatal flaws that’ll sink ‘em in the playoffs. They’re dropping this game because they’re not playing like they’re capable of. There’s a big difference. And even if there’s a loss today, that doesn’t change my mind about this team’s chances in the post season one little bit. Not at all.

It's like he thinks

that the only way for the colts to win is for him to be the best kick returner in the history of the league. In truth, he just needs to be average. Make smart decisions and don’t run around like a chicken with it’s head cut off.

Suprisingly

I am calm. However, I am very concerned with the number of picks Manning has thrown the last few weeks. Thats not like him.

That and I kind of expected a let down by the defense after losing all those players

First one wasn't really his fault

it was a case of bad route running by Wayne

yea same

Im more irritated by the fact that Dierdorf and Gumble get paid to do something that requires no skill (obviously) than I am by the game (notice my lack of bets today)

The offense is really killing themselves, but i mean the line has been so inconsistent lately, its to be expected.

The only thing that does bother me a lot is the fact that there were a lot of people that missed a lot of practice this week, and I don’t like to see people gut it out in losses.
