Titans Game Next Week
Well damn. I haven't watched much of the reborn Titans, but they looked quite good in the Cards game. Young is indeed a much different quarterback (I am still waiting for him to implode though); Chris Johnson is still CJ; the defense looks tough and Finnegan is still a scrappy little prick.
Next week's game will be much tougher than probably any Titans vs. Colts match in recent memory. The Titans have a lot of confidence and, truth be told, the Colts don't have anything on the line in this one. All that said, I really REALLY don't want the Titans to be the team that hands us our first loss.
Any thoughts on next week's game?

Colts will need to bring the A game (FOR THE WHOLE GAME) not like we have been doing the past few weeks.
If they contain CJ as well as they did in the first game I'm not worried
big if though
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.
+1
Also, they won on a last second play while playing against MATT LEINART. We just need to contain Chris Johnson. Their defense still doesn’t scare me.
We can play like we did this week and still win.
Their secondary doesn’t scare me at all. The Cards secondary is pathetic. We shut down Chris Johnson last time we played them and even though I think VY will make some plays against us, he usually does, I just don’t see their secondary being able to keep up with our receivers.

Chris Johnson is the best back in the AFC
We can not assume that because we contained him last time, we can this time. We are a bend but don’t break D, and that always scares me. I will not be surprised if CJ runs for 200+
Given that, I still think we can beat them with CJ and VY. But the Colts will need to play well the entire game. If they run the ball like they have been, the Colts will have limited possessions and will need to be in sync the entire game—unlike today’s game.
They are hot, its a divisional rivalry. Comments like these do not respect the intensity of this rivalry and the dog fight this game will be.
I'm not flying 1700 miles to watch the Colts lose - lol!
How can you not love a team that does this?
Hey!
I’m gonna be there, too. I think a lot of people are heading out for this game. One of my 5th graders was checking out his seats in computer class the other day and got really excited when he found out I was going, too.
This is my first time at Lucas Oil – does it still have a new stadium smell to it?
ah-a Lucas Oil Stadium Virgin, it's about time you were baptized!

Vince Young scares me
the fact that he beat the Cards with his arm at the end of teh game instead of a run gives me cause fo rconcern. Hope Freeney is back for this one.
Should be a dog fight
This is a character type game. We have clinched the AFC South, granted we are still playing for that #1 seed. However, a Titans team with 5 straight wins in our house?
Our offense will be fine against their D. However Finnegan is back and he is a hell of a ball player. How we will contain VY will be the real challenge. I think we really have to put a lot of pressure on him and make sure our LB’s and Safeties pop him if he tries to scramble.
Next week’s game will be much tougher than probably any Titans vs. Colts match in recent memory.
You mean tougher than when they beat us last year? I hope not…

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: What should you do if a hot dog vendor gives you a free hot dog? Why, throw it on the ground, of course.
Vince Young is indeed a concern
not for his arm, but for its legs.
Their D isn’t that much of a worry, but with VY and CJ can cause some troubles on our D

Hayden
should be back which will help a lot!
Bob Sanders does not play Hide-and-Seek, He plays HIDE and PRAY-HE-DOES-NOT FIND-YOU!
i'd prefer Freeney or Gonzo

Their D will be a problem
They got great push up front last time they played, and VY has an annoying habit of turning coverage sacks into 1st down runs. But I think we’ve seen him enough that we have a good answer for his antics.
Ok. So VY has nearly 400 yards passing...
and only 20 points to show for it. Make that 13 points, since CJ scored 1 TD. What does that tell us? Horrible in the RedZone? I’m not sure of the specifics, but there’s a weakness there and we will exploit it.

Arizona was without Warner and they still needed a lass second drive to pull it off.
The game’s also in Indy. I’m not too worried.
The Colts will not lose this game.
We have something the Titans don’t have, CHARACTER.

Coyer will
Figure out how to contain CJ. Don’t need to shut him down, just contain him and prevent big runs. Youngs legs are a concern, and we haven’t faced a QB with that kind of running talent. But he can be psycologically broken with good pass coverage and our defensive ends. A couple of picks or turnovers (i.e. forced fumbles) will crack VY. Poor Vinnie does not have the maturity or character to stay cool under pressure that can be brought to bear by our defense. I think he may fizzle if we can bust out early with a lead.
