Shane Andrus Cut

It's being reported that Shane Andrus was cut by the Bucs today.  I realize that carrying 3 kickers on the roster is not an option, but what are the chances we add him to the practice roster in order to carry him over into next year?  I seriously doubt we hold onto Stover after Vinatieri comes back, but AV's status health-wise is in doubt and Andrus may well be our kicker for the future.  Thoughts?

The guy is clutch

I think the Colts need to seriously think about picking him back up…he was money every time he kicked. I say they do what it takes to get this guy back

I wonder

why TB cut him? Sounds like he missed one FG… did they give the guy enough chances? I understand why we picked up Stover, but this guy could offer a longer-term solution.

How can you not love a team that does this?

Next year

Andrus will be around next year, just like he always is. We can sign him in the offseason and I wouldn’t mind at all if he is the kicker of the future once Vinny is done.

7-0 feels oh so good. Bring on the Texans....
