"Don’t blitz him, dumbass."
Let me begin by saying that Michael Silver still isn't the brightest sports writer in the world, but at least he knows who to interview.
We all know the beast of a defensive Brian Urlacher, and he knows Peyton Manning from personal experience. I just found this quote interesting, so I thought I would share.
Just before the Colts’ Peyton Manning threw a fade Reggie Wayne to for Indy’s first touchdown against the Houston Texans, sparking a comeback victory, Urlacher exclaimed, “Don’t blitz him, dumbass.” When I asked him the best way to defend Manning, Urlacher said, “There is none – the guy’s so good, and so aware of what’s going on, that it’s a nightmare. We beat them up [29-13] in last year’s opener, and what we did was we showed blitz every single snap, no matter what defense we were going to play. … I wish we’d been able to do something to stop him in the Super Bowl [a 29-17 Colts victory in February of ’07]. He killed us.”
GO COLTS!

Just ask the media
The Colts only win because they are lucky. Manning has nothing to do with it.
Of course
I mean, it MUST be luck when your QB is leading the MVP race with two WRs who are starting in the NFL for the first time, right?
;)
False
listen the media…Favre has been catapulted into the front runner for MVP and no one can catch him. NO ONE!!!!
Bob Sanders does not play Hide-and-Seek, He plays HIDE and PRAY-HE-DOES-NOT FIND-YOU!
Wait...
You mean that guy who has opposed teams with a combined 36-63 record, and who has played only three teams with winning records, losing to one of them?
Okay, because he must rock! He must be better than Manning too, who has played teams with a combined 51-58 record, and has beat all four winning teams he’s played.
I mean, the choice is obvious. Go for the guy on the team with the easier schedule, is not undefeated so far, and who has a monster running game at his disposal.
Dont forget
He’s 40 years old…I heard the big linemen were getting pissed cause Bret was sucking down all their oxygen tanks when he comes off the field. That’s probably just speculation though.
=)
