that there is a petition going around to prevent Larry Johnson from becoming the Chiefs’ all-time rushing leader (he’s 75 yards away).

Ok so...
I noticed that the next 3 games for the undefeated Saints are VERY easy games and the next 3 games for the Colts are fairly tough…the record for the next 3 teams to play the Saints are a combined 4-18 (Carolina, St. Louis and Tampa Bay) the record for the 3 that the Colts play are 18-4 (Houston, New England and Baltimore)…The Saints may very well have the Top Seed locked up after these games…grrr I like that the Saints are doing good, but I still wouldnt mind seeing them loose a game or 2

records don’t matter in that situation. The home/away team thing switches between the AFC and NFC every year. Record is not taken into account.

I’m definitely playing those two tonight. I’m #21 having already knocked off #12 Ohio State. I have #4 Penn State later.

That's what I always did with
my NFL Blitz on N64 to ensure the perfect season. Little story: I once went through a full perfect season on NFL Blitz (with the Colts of course) without resetting the game, crushed my first 2 playoff opponents, and in the Super Bowl, which is always challenging in that game, I went up by 5 with 10 seconds left in the game. Then, the computer returned the freaking kickoff back for a touchdown. That sucked so much. I kind of know how Pats fans feel about 2007 now.

One thing I loved about NFL Blitz
was there was no pass interference. You could have your defender cold-cock receivers if you wanted. You could also do late hits all you wanted. Lots of fun.

My brother had mono last summer.

I might have had it my senior year
for about a month I was totally drained, had to mainline sugar and caffeine to stay awake, and I lost 15 pounds (this was two months into cross country and I was lifting weights the whole time).
Then last fall I had some nice viral bronchitis. Spent two weeks trying to cough up a lung then 2nd week of which I couldn’t talk above a whisper.
So maybe I’m just following in the new tradition of getting sick each fall.

like the half a season of football I played where I couldn’t play corner on the right side because I had hurt my hamstring too badly to push off coming out of my backpedal, but didn’t talk to the trainers about it. I just stuck to playing safety and left CB.

I just didn't want to miss what little time I got
though I feel a little better about not saying anything since the starting safety got something similar like two weeks later and the trainers didn’t have much for him but stretching and ice afterwards which I was already doing on my own.

I was able to mostly focus it back on Colts vs. Texans, but yeah, they’re pissed. I don’t agree with what BBS did with Singletary/the comment in the Ask A Colts Fan/shutting down Ask A Texans fan, but they have gone overboard with their responses and played the innocence factor.
I still will comment over there because there is some good conversation mixed in, but there have been massive amounts of personal attacks, and I bet I haven’t seen them all because of your deleting power.

I am loving where TV is going now with utilizing Hulu and Youtube to put all of their shows online. They are finally starting to realize that it actually helps and promotes their show by putting it online, and they won’t have to continually search Youtube and delete videos.
Hopefully, all shows will soon be like this. Until then, this will continue to be my favorite site ever.

A football-related question seeing as though it seems people are hanging out over here
I’m watching the 30-minute version of the game from Sunday and am seeing a LOT of wobbly passes by Manning. I understand the occasional pass that slips out or that is tipped, but if I went back I’d probably count a dozen or more long passes that came out of Manning’s hand in something much less than a tight spiral. His shorter passes seemed better, but I’m wondering if he doesn’t have a hand or finger injury? Thoughts? Am I too paranoid?
