One other tidbit from Caldwell today, WR Anthony Gonzalez doesn't sound as close as we thought he would be. The coach mentioned Gonzo getting another opinion, which is not a good sign. So, for now, don't expect to see Gonzo any time soon.

Bob Sanders does not play Hide-and-Seek, He plays HIDE and PRAY-HE-DOES-NOT FIND-YOU!
speaking of trolls..
nothing is funnier than a troll claiming that they were silenced for SPEAKING THE TRUTH!!!
Trolls know what they are doing, know why they are banned… and the whining about it afterwords is just funny to me.
You don’t see me going off to other sites and speaking shit, then acting SHOCKED that I was banned.

It isn't my forte...
I like to make jokes, not make people angry. But hey, to each his own.
It is as old as the internet to get banned from a message board to go running off and claiming that it was unjust. New day, same shit.
I dunno, wanna go over to some blog and try to get banned?

I recommend against doing this
trolling is bad, M’kay.
and any mod action you provoke will be viewable to the mods of any site you’re joined on. It’d probably make you less likely to get the benefit of the doubt from other mods.
example: with that GeoMak guy. If he didn’t have a long history of mod actions against him for the exact same stuff he was doing here, he’d have gotten a lot more leeway.

they warned us that he had stone hands at times...
i think he dropped a touchdown pass during one of their playoff games, maybe? Don’t quote me on that…

I think it was the NFCCG
its difficult to find the stats for a dropped pass.

that's what I understand.
You know the new “Redzone” commercials, right? In one of them (I think its vs. the Cards in the Championship Game) they show him not catching a pass that was in his hands – in the endzone.
I know its just one play. But, the Philly fans did say he had some issues with his hands. Could be that Donovan was throwing the ball at his shoe laces for all I know. He just makes me nervous, is all.

I read some similar comments from Philly fans saying he was a dropper with stone hands...
… and I also saw quite a few saying he was the wrong player to let go. I don’t know… he hasn’t impressed me so far. On the one hand, you can say he’s gotten miniscule playing time so he hasn’t gotten used to the job here yet, but on the other, when you’re hit right on the freakin’ hands, the quarterback has done his job, and a dropped pass means you as a receiver haven’t done yours.
We’ll see. Like everyone said on the day of the signing: He’s a low risk pickup. He’s not commanding much money, and Indy can indeed do far, far worse than a guy who gave Philly 440 yards with a 4.8 YAC average who can also play special teams.

There's no team like the Colts
to turn a “mild knee sprain” into “season-killing injury”.
Such a shame to see a sure breakout season go like this.
not that it matters now...
but I thought it was worse than a knee sprain, cause he fell down untouched on the play. Those seem to be the worst injuries.

I looked like
the EXACT same thing that happened to Owen Daniels last week. in the replay it didnt’t look like he was touched either when he went down and now look at him…

Let's hope this doesn't go until week 17 like it did with Marvin
I would rather them put Gonzo on IR and pick up someone that can be a temporary replacement. Or if they are comfortable with the guys they already have, pick up a LB to take that SAM spot……there has to be someone.
I would still be in favor of getting Derrick Brooks and moving Session to SAM because I like Brooks so much.
7-0 feels oh so good. Bring on the Texans....
Reminded me of Stockley's
Achilles injury.
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.
Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: Viz Media (The creators of my absolute favorite show of all-time and inspiration to my avatar, Naruto) just announced a partnership with the channel Disney XD to bring the English-dubbed episodes of Naruto Shippuden (The continuation of the Naruto series) to that station with a new episode airing each week, starting, well, NOW. With the series recording I just put on it, this is one of the greatest days I've had in a long time. I'm not kidding. I love the show that much.
I can't say I'm shocked
I was trying to be optimistic in respect to Gonzo because there are few receivers I admire more than him, and therefore wanted him to fight it out and be back by St. Louis at most. When he wasn’t, I knew he may be out a while. The way he went down, I feared it was one of those that looks more like a slip up, but in fact was far worse. Hopefully he gets back by NE, but I am not holding my breath.
Good thing Collie is a stud and Garcon keeps coming along and has big play ability. Those Wayne and Clark guys are decent, too. Get well soon, Gonzo, you’re too good a player and too hard a worker. Plus, Hank Baskett is really awful.
Garcon
I just hope that his early success didn’t go to his head, because he hasn’t produced nearly the same lately as he did at first. Unfortunately I see him as a potential (2008 version of) Ocho Cinco type….give me the damn ball or else I am going to pout and cry about it.
Just know your role Garcon and you will do fine.
7-0 feels oh so good. Bring on the Texans....
ehh
give Hank a break…he’s use to grabbin Kendra’s melons and those are shaped NOTHING like a football…

Marlin Jackson didn’t practice today, nor did Bobzilla (who has an elbow injury).

Of course he does. He can get an injury anywhere, can’t he…Week 14 – Big toenail injury.
7-0 feels oh so good. Bring on the Texans....
curious whether anyone saw if he got injured during Sunday's game?
How can you not love a team that does this?
I didnt see him get injured
maybe they gave him the day off and just picked a body part to add to the injury report to piss us off…Polian is actually reading this know and laughing over our panic….bastard

Well known epic troll. You know Mike Shanahan used to track the numbers of which Bronco running back was most used in FF leagues, then give him the least carries that week?

Mixed news... Gonzo's recovery is slowing, but Brown's practicing...
Man… sometimes I wish that rosters were bigger than 53 with bigger gameday dress rosters than the forty-whatever it is right now. But on the other hand, it’s not like teams can stock 3 legit starters for the same position, so most teams would be in the same boat as they are now: Facing painful dropoffs in quality after the starter gets hurt. As the US Army discovered the hard way throughout history: Simply increasing numbers does not guarantee that overall quality will remain the same. In fact, it’ll likely drop.
Blech… injuries are a part of life in the NFL. Damned cliché, has to have a grain of truth to it… The more I watch, the more I understand Dungy’s rationalizations in the past to rest players at the end of the season. It’s just a rough league, and as a coach, you’ll want to do everything you can to preserve the team’s collective health. I’ll still argue till I’m blue in the face that such rest disrupted playoff momentum, but just because I disagree with the idea of resting the players doesn’t mean I don’t see where Dungy in the past (and possibly Caldwell now and in the future??) were/are coming from.
