Jack Williams
I just now notice that Denver had waived Jack Williams and signed Ty Law. Since our corner depth is thinning every day right now, do you think that we should sign him? He's a very good Cover 2 corner, and a solid tackler and special teamer. I remember when he was in the draft I really wanted us to nab him, as I thought he would work out great here. I also seem to remember that the Colts were scouting him a ton. Thoughts?

Really now?
I would love the signing of jack williams. Would be a great addition and the best part is that he is still pretty young
Agree
They did have interest in him coming out last year. Similar to Tim Jennings. Short, fast, and physical. Also means that most fans will despise him.
Thought he had really good game for denver vs. NE.
are you shure you want him i mean there has to be a good reason they let him go and got law
GO COLTS!!! 09 IS OURS!!!
They must think Law is a better corner
He was pretty good in his prime. They must think he’s got something left in the tank.
This isn’t a guy getting cut because they needed another WR or something. It’s a position-specific replacement.
I'd rather have Ty Law.
We still have to play Denver.
Yes!
Answer is YES! Jack Williams is an excellent Tampa-2 corner. We did a write-up on him back in 2008 here: http://www.stampedeblue.com/2008/4/8/11918/63168

Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: This is my dad's favorite scene from one of my all-time favorite shows. Full of win, IMO.
