Unusual Interview with Belichik
It's unusual because some of the things he says in the interview are, in fact, interesting. For example, the Raiders called the Pats first about Richard Seymour, and you only have to worry about 10 or so teams competing in a given year because the rest will screw it up for themselves. And when mentioning teams that are consistently good, only the Steelers, Colts, and Eagles get mentioned. Along with the Pats those are my top 4 as well. Maybe he actually has something approaching a personality.

Every once in a while
The man my 9 year-old calls Mister Grumpy Pants does let his humanity show. He’s usually got the game face on and takes a lot of heat for various things. So maybe pressure turns him into (more of) a tool. Does to us all I suspect.
I am pretty sure that in a conf call interview about going to London this year he was joking with reporters about “special things the team was working on, like stepping out into a crosswalk and not getting hit by a bus.” (because they drive on the wrong side of the road there). I skimmed it at first ant thought he was literally talking about something as boring as traffic. same old Bill…. When I realized he was making a cross-cultural joke it was a pleasant surprise.
If it was not a joke, his players must be dumber than I thought.
I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.
