Good Game Houston
Well my heart was racing. The game was way closer in score than it should have been. We seen another week where we had trouble getting touchdowns inside the red zone. This game is bittersweet especially with all the trash the Texan fans were talking. They have a good team, I will admit, but it is always the great teams that find ways to win.
One more thing....
Thank you Kris Brown. Have a nice flight back to Texas.

Houston played way better
Too many penalties and a blown kick kept them from the win. That’s football for you.

Yeah they shot themselves in the foot
quite a bit. But the Colts also gave them 3 points by calling that TO right before halftime when the kick got block. Im still mad at Caldwell about that. How many times do we have to see that icing the kicker doesnt really work. Too many times a kick was either blocked or missed to be nullified by a TO. But this was my favorite game of the year so far. I can’t wait watch the game in Houston.
Back when I was picking beans in Guatemala, we used to make fresh coffee, right off the trees I mean. That was good. This is shit but, hey, I'm in a police station.

ESPN said it was called to put a returner under the goalpost rather than to ice the kicker.
Notice Caldwell did not call TO to ice the kicker at the end of the game.

I thought Caldwell was smarter than that.

If Caldwell didn't try to ice the kicker
and if it was for another reason, I stand corrected. I still like the guy.

someone mentioned
it was so that we could put a returning on the field in case the kick fell short
How can you not love a team that does this?

It was a joke
Maybe I’m looking at the wrong BRB threads but I think the banned thing was a joke over there. It comes from the banning on the blogs going on early in the week. But I agree that there have been some out of control posters on both sides. Good game though!

Favorite in the sense...
That Houston maybe the only team the Colts have played this year that I felt really could have won the game. Even with some other close games earlier in the year this was actually the most nervous I have been and to know we play Houston again. I look forward to it, especially since everyone has been saying we haven’t played anyone of substance this year. I think we proved again that we still win no matter who we play.

What is wrong???
Would you wonder COLT fans tell me why we can’t score in the red zone???
by chihoosierguy on Nov 8, 2009 4:44 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
My guess is that we are too predictable...
Because our runing game is still crap absolutely no team in the league respects it so they go in pass coverage. And we throw most of the time because our run game is crap. Which is why the last two weeks have been challeging because teams are sitting back in coverage. Another thing Garcon and Collie are dropping a ton of passes and Reggie Wayne and Dallas can only do so much.

Running Game
Was respectable today for the little bit we used it. Although it was inflated a little bit by the 16 yard scamper at the end. Remember, the old 49ers had a crappy running game too their short passes replaced their running game.

Running Game
I thought the running game was decent to me, and it didn’t make sense that they ran as little as they did. Right now Manning fakes the run more then they actually run it. The team keeps saying they want to run it more, but they never do.

The Texans gave them that game just like last year with Rosencoptor. Those lucky wins don’t make you a good team. Look at Denver. They were undefeated too until they played a decent Baltimore team. Indy won’t go undefeated. We lost a fumble on a freak play at the goal line that was the difference in the game. Take away the “freak” and the Colts are crying. Nobody in Houston is crying either. We’re happy to know that we SHOULD have beaten Indy IN Indy. We outplayed them. Take away the fumble and some stupid decisions by Shaub and Indy isn’t in the game in the Fourth, much less winning the game. HOORAY Texans. Wait til they come to Houston. Good times ahead, loss or not this spells trouble for the rest of the AFC.
The Colts had many oppertunities to score as well and settled for field goals. So from my count if Texans don’t fumble and score a TD and IF the Colts score TD and NOT FG the Colts still win.
Regardless…it is a moot point shit happens in the NFL and the luck is not in the equation unless you are Denver early in the year with Stokely. But even with that is it luck or was the REC just in a position to make a play. He made the play. Kris Brown did not. Deal with it.

Haven't you noticed...
That when the Pats blow out nobody teams like the Titans and the Buccaneers, that they’re seen as “a good team”. But when we blow out “nobody” teams like the Titans and the Rams, “we haven’t played anyone.” And when teams like the Saints comeback against the Dolphins, the Falcons, and the Jets; then they’re seen as elite. Yet when we comeback against teams like the Texans, 49ers, and Dolphins then we’re seen as “lucky”. Such a double standard. It makes me sick.

Noticed
I believe it’s because the Colts have had so many seasons where they had a run of being undefeated for a number of games doing the season, then loosing in the playoffs.
I would say most are going with a wait and see attitude.

Good Game Colts
I thought the Texans would be able to win this game, I was wrong. Should be another good game when we meet up in Houston.

Good-Game!!
I don’t believe in moral victories for the texans any more a win is a win so with said, we will whoop yall when yall come down to Houston. One more thing, Dallas Clark is the biggest F-ing Pu**Y he never wants to get hit, he slides more that a QB. I hate that mother-trucker!!
OK I am done, but good game.

Dallas Clark slides to protect himself
Marvin Harrison used the same tactic and he will be a first ballot hall of famer. I don’t see anything wrong with it; he is just protecting himself especially since he has had concussions in the past. He gets the first downs and keeps drives alive, and if thats why you hate him fine, but it seems everyone else considers him the best tight end in the game right now.

Another Game
LOL, you signed up today just to tell everyone how you think of a great player sliding to protect himself.
Well that F-ing Pu**Y as you put it gets paid a great amount of money to do something you,me and a lot of others couldn’t do.
You said he never wants to get hit, have you ever watched him block, enough said.
As for the statement “we will whoop yall when yall come down to Houston” I hope your team has that already won it attitude when they play again, at least they will have a little time in their life dreaming of beating the beast team in the NFL this season.

The Colts seem to play better on the road.
I’m fairly confident they’ll go into Reliant and get the blow-out win they should have had Sunday.

Clark is almost a god!
Definitely the best tight end to ever play the game. We’re so lucky he’s a Colt!

Hated the outcome but it was an exciting game to watch. Great game.
Been a while since I yelled “SNAP THE FKIN BALL!” at the top of my lungs at the TV over and over…..
Both teams made errors, in the end the Texans made more errors (13 penalties are the most since kubiak became coach) and the Colts capitalized on them while not committing as many.
Hopefully the Texans can get their act together for the Hhome game.
