our running game
wasnt bad today…
Bob Sanders does not play Hide-and-Seek, He plays HIDE and PRAY-HE-DOES-NOT FIND-YOU!
I think that
He means the playcalling. Very pass heavy. Bill Polian said on the radio that he wishes that he ran with more success in the first half. Also said that Addai ran very well, north to south, and tough. He said the first half problems were “definitely” not Addai’s fault and that he finished every run.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
Yeah
the O Line is not creating any openings for him…thats where the work needs to begin. You saw how he runs when he has holes and blockers
Bob Sanders does not play Hide-and-Seek, He plays HIDE and PRAY-HE-DOES-NOT FIND-YOU!
If Ugoh is a good run blocker, why not make him RG
That Van.. something didnt do great

I'd like to see some

Kyle DeVan
did better than Mike Pollack, so Im not complaining there, but I have said it before, instead of wasting Ugohs tallent he needs to be tried out at RG. Hes a great run blocker

The Raiders had to suck it up and do that with Gallery, and that helped them out. He was an awful tackle.

a lot of busted tackles
turn out to be great guards….

does it seem that Ugoh looks a little small for a tackle?
by INDYCOLTSROCK18 on Nov 8, 2009 5:32 PM EST up reply actions
He's sort of lean
But not small. He’s 6’7".
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation

he would be a big guard
which would help out
Bob Sanders does not play Hide-and-Seek, He plays HIDE and PRAY-HE-DOES-NOT FIND-YOU!
Wait a minute
That’s why they haven’t tried him at guard. He might not have great leverage at that height as a pass blocker.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
he's 6'5" not 6'7"
but at just 300lbs he’s lanky for a lineman

Oh ok
I remember….Oh, I’m thinking of his jersey number…LOL
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
but they could bulk him up
just send him to dinner with Ed Johnson for a while.
He’d kill on pulls, he works great in space.

Just wish my opponent didn’t have him. I was hoping Fitzy would have gotten 27 more yards – and maybe another TD. He would have gotten a 15 point bonus for hitting 150 yds. That would help, even though he got me 33 points.

we did alright in the first half but it is the second half that worries me. we just didn't execute
and we couldn’t pick up 3rd downs but our D did great exept in the second half they struggled some on stopping the other team on third downs where they usually do well this season

by TheAngelsColts on Nov 8, 2009 5:30 PM EST up reply actions
Colts pass Defense is a little overrated
Our Pass Defense starts with our pass rush. If we don’t have any, teams can pick apart our Pass Defense
by INDYCOLTSROCK18 on Nov 8, 2009 5:31 PM EST up reply actions
That's most defenses...sorry
There is no such thing as a shutdown corner this side of Nnamdi Asomugha. The pass rush is the #1 priority for every D. If they don’t prioritize it and excel at it, they won’t be good. You can write that one down.
Well, I guess I already did.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
But also. receivers tend to get open alot against us, which has nothing to do with pass rush
by INDYCOLTSROCK18 on Nov 8, 2009 5:34 PM EST up reply actions
No, it does.
Any quarterback against any D can complete a pass if he has 4-5 seconds to throw. There is really no physical way to cover 4 or 5 guys that long.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
I thought the D was good...
the Texans would take a three step drop, and throw it right on the third foot. Andre Johnson would then jump. catch the ball… and then first down.
No other team can stop that either…

we have to do better on third downs on our offense. i can not understand why addai is the only one running the ball we shoudl be using at least one of the other guys to mix it up it is to hard to do it all by your self. i think if others would have shared the carries we may have done better on the run game and therefor done better on third downs

Addai was a beast today.
It’s true that he needs Brown to spell him and get that change-of-pace, but Addai was awesome. I was really impressed, and I already loved him. Polian also went out of his way to praise Addai on the post-game radio show multiple times.

Addai's got a hell of a history of converting short yardage though
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.
he ran good today but didnt in short yardage today. just seems like with brown
he has more power up the middle and a little more drive up the middle. addai often seemes to try and get throush the whole in the middle when it is there then cut instead of just powering forward. he is good at cutting but that is more for going ot the outside unless you got a big whole but when there isn’t that you need to jsut go straight ahead
GO COLTS!!! 09 IS OURS!!!

It's a divisional game.
They’re supposed to be tough. I’m just happy to get the win and basically clinch the AFC South.

First down Carolina to
the Saints 45 yard line. Delhomme actually looks competent right now.

I'm back! Went out for dinner after the play.
Looks like you guys had another squeaker, huh? Loss #1 may come next week if you don’t start converting in the Red Zone.

If NO can't get a first down
Carolina will get the ball back with around 1:55 left, probably with bad field position.

Why not
I actually used to like the Panthers, even had a Jersey(don’t even remember who). My Aunt and Grandma lived in J-ville NC, so it was a big deal when the team came out. Plus they had my favorite colors, and my favorite animal was their mascot. Kids are dumb.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
well hey
you picked for reasons that don’t change, rather than people who picked because of where they live or who the players are.
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.
Well yeah
I liked the Colts too. But didn’t see anything wrong for rooting for two different teams. But of course my friends made fun of me for rooting for two bad teams. Then the Colts almost went to the Super Bowl, and then the Panthers went the NFCCG the next year.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
