Chiefs Release Larry Johnson

This guy was one of my favorite players on the Chiefs, and before I moved to Indianapolis, his was the only NFL jersey I owned.  Now he has to find a new team, and I have a new dishrag!

Any thoughts on what team (if any) will sign him?  He was #2 in the league just a few years back, and now he's sitting on his couch eating cheetos.

Kids, remember the moral of the Larry Johnson Jersey:  DON'T DRUNK TEXT!

honestly don't remember

but Schefter re-tweeted it this morning (good god I can’t believe I just said “re-tweeted” and it made sense)

How can you not love a team that does this?

He is trying out for

the Texans today, but he has expressed that he would like to play for the Stillers….

Bob Sanders does not play Hide-and-Seek, He plays HIDE and PRAY-HE-DOES-NOT FIND-YOU!

I can see..

him still being big in the NFL, but only if he signs with a team with a good O-Line, which is doubtful.

Larry Johnson to Colts????

Call me crazy but a rationale for picking Larry Johnson up for the Colts could be
1. They obviously need to do anything to improve their running game and balance their attack
2. He would add upgrade at depth for issues like D. Brown’s shoulder injury
3. He historically has run very well inside
4. You trust your veterans to keep him in line much like the Patriots did with Corey Dillon
5. A winning team quiets discontent players like Johnson fed up with losing
6. Little risk and little cost – If he doesn’t workout – cut him
7. You keep the Steelers, Patriots, Bengals, San Diego from picking him up
